Bed was comfortable, no shampoo, tissues or biscuits provided which is normally standard provisions at most motels these days. We had a hot shower in the afternoon on arrival and it was great and we thought wonderful but alas when we tried to have one on our departure day it was freezing and so sign it would warm up, so we gave up.

The motel was good for the price. The check in process is absolutely ridiculous and took about half an hour and multiple phone calls. Not pleasant after a long drive. Its has a new bathroom and a kitchen and the bed was ok.

Roaches and no toilet paper or towels

Traveling around AUS on holiday, stayed at 63 hotels so far. This one was by far the worst in regard to: Check-in - hoat was kind but process was horrible. Check-in instructions say to check-in by 9pm. We checked in around 5:30pm, no host on site, had to call a number posted on the door. Had to call 3 times to get though. Hoat asked a bunch of questions then directed me to a key lockbox by the reception, then there was no key for my assigned room. Host had to get off the phone and show up in person to get me a key. Got in the room, absolutely no toilet paper, no bath towels and room hadn't been cleaned in some time. There was a heavy layer of dirt on the blanket and sheets, parts of dead bugs on the bed, dirt on the table and end tables, dirt on the bathroom sink and sand all over the place. The fidge/freezer didnt work while we were there and our food spoiled. The worst part, 4 dead roaches. 2 were next to the bed, one was on the bed and one had already been partially eaten by something in the bathroom. All of them had cleary been dead for awhile...a spot check for cleanliness of the room would have avoided this. There was a photo on the floor that teipped me as I walked in the room. There was a huge hole cut in the wall ahove thw cabinet. Overall it seems this room was possibly under construction and hadnt been cleaned or used or even stocked for supplies in some time. Absolutely the worst hotel/motel I have experienced in my travels so far through 6 states.

It was ok the room we stayed in was tiny, nothing like the pictures, you couldn’t open the wardrobe door because the fridge was blocking it! We had to leave our luggage in car it was that small!! Other rooms looked better so we might have drawn the short straw, but it was clean

Quite a large 1 bedroom apartment with full kitchen. A lot of space compared to other places. We also had a small yard and chairs. Although they were quite weather worn and need replacing. Very happy with location and property overall

Overnight in Broken Hill

Not sure if it was the time of year, but I am sure we ended up in the worst room in the hotel. The main bed was 1m away from the window next to the key collection point where customers were forced to phone to have their keys released, preventing any sleep that night. Along with one bedside table for three guests, a running toilet and broken t roll holder and poor shower drainage, it wasn't a great success, and we were tired for the drive into Adelaide the next day. The room certainly didn't look like the photos on the site with more dated furniture and ad hoc TV placement blocking use of the hairdryer.
