We had a wonderful time staying at this rental. Everything was neat and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and even the front porch views at night. The kitchen was the perfect size for our family.

Wonderful first visit to Hochatown and it’s left us wanting more! Our rental was perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved the wooded backyard for adventures, firefly catching and hottubing! They also loved the arcade game up in the loft with a ton of games. If we had downtime, they were at one of those two places!The rental was clean and orderly. Having everything and the space we needed! Renter provided started packs of laundry/dish soap, paper products, basic seasonings. We would run to Pruetts for any food needs which was just 15 minutes away. As all the other reviews mentioned, Andrea was a phenomenal communicator. Quick responses within the designated and reasonable daily timeframe. If I had a question she was quick to answer!Minutes from the lake and national forest, we were in the perfect spot to quickly and easily get to where we were venturing to! Early mornings on the porch were fun! The kids loving the occasional animal call from the drive thru safari next door! We had fun guessing what animal it was after we visited it!

Everything was clean. It looked exactly like the pictures on vrbo. As she told us beforehand, the driveway is quite steep so I don't recommend bringing a vehicle that sits low to the ground. The house was beautiful, as well as the surroundings!! The back yard and side deck (where the hot tub is) were very nice to sit and relax on. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were great too! The shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the showers were a nice touch. The kids enjoyed playing in the loft upstairs and I took a nap on the futon which was extremely comfortable!! There were 5 adults and 2 kids and it was the perfect place to stay!

Beautiful cabin

Enough room for 8 people. My grandsons loved the loft. We spent every evening in the hot tub, and had somores outside at the fire pit. TV’s in each room, and a gas grill by the hot tub for grilling. We had a great time and will be coming back. The host, Andrea, was so accommodating and answered any questions I had immediately.

Summer Trip

This place was awesome! It was a great property and the host went above and beyond by making sure that we had all the essentials for our first night, this kept us from going to the store until the next day. Shower products, coffee, creamer and sugar. Towels for the hot tub,pet carriers, cooking utensils, dishes and even firewood for our first night. We will be back!

Centrally located, beautiful cabin. Well stocked kitchen (glassware, small appliances, large refrigerator, pots, pans, silverware, bakeware, etc.). Comfy furniture, firepit with lots of outside seating. Great hot tub, gas and charcoal grills available. Gaming console, lots of TVs. Washer and Dryer, Great bathrooms. Easy communication with host.

Perfect cabin for relaxing

Great property, great location, and a beautiful home with everything you could want and need. Check in and out was seamless, with easy to follow instructions from the owner. We really enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit watching the buffalo at the safari next door! The house was big enough to easily accommodate 6 adults without stepping on each other’s toes. The only thing we noticed was the house was a little dirty and there was quite a bit of dust and pollen inside, but nothing a quick wipe down couldn’t handle.

Enjoyed our stay

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5. It was clean and well maintained. It’s also centrally located near all the restaurants and activities. We initially couldn’t get the hot tub to warm up, user error, and Andrea right away got someone out there to help. We were glad we got to enjoy the hot tub. Awesome host!

Great stay!

Property was just as described, everyone had a great time. Kids loved the hot tub, the games up in the loft and corn. The house is located next to the safari and you can see the buffalo from the house. You can sometimes hear some noises from the animals from the safari at night though. There was also some construction next door which was a little noisy during the day.

Perfect Place to Stay!

This place was awesome! Firstly, it was very easy to communicate with the property manager. We were a party of 7 and also brought our large dog (discussed with the property manager), and it was the perfect size for all of us. The space was clean, cozy, and intimate. There were TVs in each room including the living room. The master bedroom has a huge connected bathroom and a ton of towels - some even specifically for dogs! One of my favorite things was that it’s very pet friendly. They provided food and water bowls with a stand, pet blankets, and pet towels. There were even some crates provided in the closet. The backyard area is spacious and perfect to appreciate the fall foliage. We didn’t get the chance to try the hot tub, but we loved that porch area with the lights and rocking chairs. We would highly recommend this place! It’s beautiful and wonderfully taken care of.

Great Getaway

Such a great getaway property! We enjoyed our stay very much! Our 11 year old love the arcade games upstairs and we enjoyed the hot tub! Beds were cozy and kitchen had all the amenities to cook meals.

Amazing Getaway

Firstly, Andrea was easy to communicate with and fast to respond. The property was in a great location and right next to the Beaver Bend Safari which the kids absolutely loved. There was plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub and fire pit were great gathering points. We had an awesome time and will definitely book this property again!

Relaxing in woods

The property was nestled in rural area, yet still within minutes of food, entertainment, and needs. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. When we entered there was soft music playing on the tvs !! The kitchen fully equipped and the master bath, marvelous!! When we had a question, the response always immediate.

Fantastic property in a great location

I chose this location specifically because of the location and the amount of space. We had young children that I knew would love the safari right next door and the game room in the loft. I was correct. We all really enjoyed the stay. We could see the buffalo when we drove by but also took a tour of the safari. The house was well appointed with beach towels for the hot tub and cozy blankets for the couch. Clean and comfortable. I'd suggest this place to anyone!
