We stayed for three nights as four couples with five young children. Based on the listing, photos and price point, we expected a well-maintained luxury lakefront experience. Unfortunately, it fell short of that standard.The positives were the beautiful lakefront location, spacious home, ping-pong table, board games and gas-line BBQ.However, there were too many maintenance issues and missing amenities for a property at this price point. The landscaping and lawn were overgrown, outdoor furniture was covered in cobwebs, the hose was broken, outdoor outlets had no power, and the broken lake ladder made getting in and out of the water difficult. There were also no water activities/equipment or permitted fire pit. We spoke with neighbors and obtaining permit takes less than 5 minutes and costed 30. Inside, the AC didn't adequately cool the upper floors, making the bedrooms very hot. The kitchen was under-equipped and had no functioning stove vent, so cooking smoke and odours filled the space. Several windows had DIY stick-on fabric coverings that fell off during the night. The advertised yoga/workout area was simply a large, dark, empty room with no equipment.None of these issues individually would have ruined our stay. The problem was the sheer number of them combined with the cost for three nights. The property has great potential, but in its current condition, we did not feel the experience justified the premium price.
