The cabin, the locations and the hosts were all stellar. We really enjoyed this place. The picture window in the living room can't be beat! We watched sunrises, freighters, birds, sunsets and waves all day everyday.

Beautiful view of Lake Superior from picture window. Telescope to view the freighters and Canada. Enjoyable to walk the shoreline to Point Iroquois Lighthouse. Great location. Close to Brimley for groceries, Superior pizza and Pickles for freshly caught whitefish. Bay Mills Casino just down the road. A scenic hour drive to Tahquamenon Falls. Also, an hour drive to Mackinac Bridge. My son's dog got to put his paws in Lake Superior, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Host was just next door and welcomed us when we arrived. He was very accommodating and made sure that we had everything needed and answered any questions we had. Great place to stay!

Great location and view

Great location if you want to see the eastern side of the UP. Beautiful lakefront within a short walk of a light house. Cabin was exactly as described in the listing. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was so nice to have the owners close by not that we needed them at all. Easy check in and stay!!

When we arrived at the cabin, Scott greeted us and gave us a tour. We told him about our day trip plans over the next several days and he was able to suggest several places that were near our planned day trip locations, which we also checked out.The cabin was very clean and had great views of Lake Superior. It has it's own private beach and I would suggest bringing some water shoes if you plan to explore it because it is very rocky. There is also a special flashlight that can be used to find yooperlites, which have spots that glow orange when seen under black light. Due to it's proximity to the Soo Locks, we were able to see large freighters going towards and away from the locks everyday. They also have a spotting scope on a tripod in the bay window so you can get a closer look at the ships as they go by.The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal and there is a gas grill you can also use next to the back deck. You can tell that Scott and Eva put a lot of effort in to ensuring all of their guests have a comfortable stay. My family had a great time while staying here.

Cozy cottage!

We loved our stay! The picture window that looks out to Lake Superior was the perfect view! Fully stocked with all the amenities we needed. Clean and cozy cottage. The beach access is right in the backyard- down some steps. The first night we saw northern lights and amazing stars. 10/10 would recommend this cottage! Excellent hosts!

Love the view

The cabin was more than we expected. It was very clean, no bad odor, loved having two bathrooms, plenty of space for all our "stuff". Owners were very accommodating during our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable. The view overlooking Whitefish Bay was fabulous. Loved all the little touches that made it feel like a home.

Lake Rocks

The location and shoreline is beautiful and many shoreline gems. The water is pretty cold, but returning in a warm month (July) to snorkel is on the radar. I enjoyed making a fire inside most nights, and the owner referred me to a fishing guide, very nice time outdoors (3 pink salmon & a steelhead) No northern lights this time, but I’ll be back ~

Great stay on Lake Superior

We had a great stay at Scott's place. The place was super clean & comfy. Scott's a great host, has everything you could need. Loved the telescope in the huge front window, was so much fun to zoom in on the freighters passing! So many little extras, like beach towels & flashlights for yooperlite hunting! We had our dogs & they had a great time playing in the water & exploring the area! Hope to visit again! Thanks for a great stay! by. He even had some lights to huyooperlites!

Memories of a lifetime.....

From the moment we arrived we knew we found the perfect vacation spot. Our family tradition is watching the meteor shower peak in August and Lake Superior is the perfect place! The detail that Scott and Eva have put into not only the cabin, but the entire experience is absolutely exceptional! The boys loved kayaking to the lighthouse. Our dog Maisie absolutely loved looking out if the big widow and exploring the beach. Although we came to see the shooting stars, the two amazing nights of watching the northern lights took the prize and will be memories that will be carried for a lifetime! This cabin would be absolutely perfect for any Upper Peninsula stay for any season. We have found our perfect time ... but can see us booking for other seasons as well. Scott and Eva are amazing hosts and made us feel very welcomed! Can't wait until next year!❤️
