Great stay, comfortable room with all amenities. Great nights sleep, super fresh breakfast with relaxed friendly staff. Maybe a few areas could have paint refreshed, but only superficial.

Fantastic family and dog friendly stay.

We stayed in a triple room. My wife and I, two boys (11&13) and our dog. The staff were friendly and the room was well equipped and done up to a nice standard, with a lovely view across the Downs towards the sea. We have an evening meal which was very nice. And the included breakfast was also top notch. For the price, I could not fault it, and would certainly recommend staying here.

Me & my partner stayed Friday 25th April as attending the game at the Amex Stadium on the Saturday. So friendly the staff, really relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. Food in the restaurant both at evening meal and breakfast was superb. Our room was a really decent size, and the decor spot on. Yes you could hear music from below from the bedroom, but we were advised this was likely and it wasn't an issue anyway. Would without doubt stay here again, when next visiting Brighton

Away for work

This was a 1-night stay for work. I was in room 3, which was very comfortable, tea & coffee making facilities, great choice of lighting in room. Ensuite was good. Wifi you had to provide an email address which you had to verify. TV was okay but did not have the BBC channels on it. Possibly the most comfortable bed I have slept in (whilst away from home) this year. The only downside was the radiator was on in the room and would not turn down/off. Car park was free. The only note getting to premises is it is right at the crossroad junction, so I missed it when I first went over junction.

The room was very clean and spacious, with minimal noise from the bar below. It was well located, with a bus stop right outside, making the city centre easily accessible. Would definitely stay here again.

Downs dog friendly hotel stay

Fantastic dog friendly pub & hotel. The room preparation was superb and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The dog was fantastically cared for. Great field across the road for exercising the dog as well. Very convenient location for access to & from A27.
