Whether you’re swimming, paddling, or simply anchoring yourself on the shore to relax, there’s plenty of room for both adventure and downtime.

The home comes fully equipped for water fun with 3 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, a swim platform, and a dock capable of accommodating a 20-foot boat—your crew can set sail and explore Moose Pond’s 8 miles of pristine waters. After a day on the lake, drop anchor on the deck or gather around the fire pit under the stars. Nearby hiking trails, local dining, shopping, and attractions provide additional “shore leave” for everyone. Enjoy peaceful spring and fall getaways or a bustling summer cruise—The Ship is the perfect setting for an unforgettable Maine lakeside family adventure.

Excellent base for family reunion of 3 generations (9 adults, 7 children). Plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed, the pool and air hockey tables were much appreciated and the dock/swimming area was great. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and the dock was sturdy. This was the first time we’ve rented a place without bedding and towels included and it was a bit of a hassle to bring our own, but wouldn’t stop us from renting again. All in all, a great week and we’re grateful for the memories!
