Light, bright, and modern the pool house is located in the quiet neighborhood of Pleasant Hills, just 10 miles from Disneyland, 25 miles from the beach, & 2 miles from a quaint downtown with movie theaters, restaurants, nightlife, & the Brea mall. There several major hospitals nearby along with two Tesla Supercharging locations.

The name “Oasis” describes the property well. The two giant king palms welcome you into the gated property with circular driveway entrance giving you the feeling of arriving at a private estate. Enter through the gate that opens up to a courtyard with two pomegranate trees & a wall of bamboo that creates privacy from neighbors & leads you to the guest house located in the back portion of the property.

The yard is spacious and functional, providing the indoor-outdoor living experience that we are grateful to experience here in CA including a fuyu persimmon tree, an orange tree, & a guava tree (help yourself if there is fruit on the trees!). An herb garden is just steps outside, & a few more steps leads you to the gazebo with table to enjoy a glass of wine or a meal outside or use it as an area to work & enjoy the great outdoors while on a Zoom call. While not working, relax in the jucuzzi with a glass of wine or enjoy the pool to cool off or swim a few laps.

Inside, the 18-foot cathedral ceilings & clear story windows gives it it’s feeling of spaciousness. The house is 500 sf & has 2 levels including a loft (second bedroom) with workspace & futon as an extra sleeping space. The loft is open to the living room downstairs & is accessed by a spiral staircase.

Our guests are typically traveling nurses, snowbirds visiting friends/family, families moving to the area or visiting for a school or training program, & professionals working remotely.

You will be provided with the keypad code for access. We are available if you need us. Host lives in the main house.
The age minimum is 25 (families with kids welcome).

To make it more affordable for individuals or couples, there is a $150 per month additional fee per person after 2 people.

For 28+ night stays, the following deposits apply:

Refundable damage deposit is $100
Refundable cleaning deposit is $350


The pet fee for shorter stays is $25 per night per dog, max 2 dogs - other animals or more than 2 dogs require prior approval. To keep the cost low for smaller groups, there is a $12 per person per night additional guest fee when there are more than 2 guests.

Note: The cleaning fee for a 28+ nights stay is higher than the short-term cleaning fee in the listing.

For stays 28 nights or longer, the cleaning fee is $200. The difference between this fee and the initial cleaning fee paid upon booking will be collected along with the deposits before check-in.

Immediately after booking you will receive our short rental agreement to review and accept.

For your convenience in cleaning up any messes or spills we provide handiwipes and bar rags as an eco-friendly alternative to paper towels. We also provide Swedish dish cloths instead of sponges. There is a sign in the house explaining the benefits, however if you prefer paper towels or sponges during your stay feel free to bring them. We want to prepare you the best we can for an exceptional stay with us.
