Hotel is in nice location away from the main throng. A 15 minute walk will get you to the old town albeit its all uphill. Lovely big room which had a fully equipped kitchen. No dishtowel or washing up liquid provided though. Air conditioning works really well. Large bathroom which was quite dimly lit. The bathroom cabinet looked like it should have lit up but it didnt seem to work. The shower was really good and very powerful but be aware that it is a deep bath and stepping up and out could be trickly if you were slightly immobile. There was no other mirror in the room so drying your hair, doing your make up was a problem. Breakfast was good with a nice choice of continental foods. My only negative was that they had no English breakfast tea for 2 consecutive days despite many guests asking for them.

Lovely room, up a bit of a hill though

Lovely, spacious room with small kitchen area including fridge, hob, microwave etc. as well as a proper sofa for relaxing, and a decent bathroom. Our room was on the ground floor very near reception and there was some noise from the outside terrace. We also had an issue with what sounded like running water/toilet in the room upstairs which went on for some time and couldn't be resolved by the receptionist (though she did try). Annoying, it stopped just before she came to our room to listen, and then started again sometime later - but this was only on 1 night, so likely not a common issue. Be aware that the hotel/rooms are up a hill away from the main centre, with virtually no public transport to take you close - and even if there were, the entrance to reception is up a quite steep cobbled driveway, and then some steps. Those with mobility issues might struggle. However, Bolt taxis are available and cheap (only €13 to go to the airport) so might be a solution if the hill is too much. There's little else very close to the hotel - shops, restaurants etc. which meant going into the centre to eat (also most supermarkets, including Tesco Express, are closed on Sunday - be prepared). All in all, lovely room, but the location was less than ideal.

Excellent week in Bratislava

Staff were extremely helpful and always greeted you with a smile. Extremely spacious rooms and equipped with fridge, glasses, plates etc. Location was just outside the old town and in a quiet residential area. Excellent week in Bratislava 👍

A m a z i n g!

This apartment at Mamaison was more than I expected! It was really comfortable with a living room, kitchen, dining room, bedroom, and two bathrooms: one with a bathtub and sink, and the other one with a toilet and sink. The closets were enough for our needs. The refrigerator was a good size for a short stay. Everything was lovely! The receptionist was super kind and very friendly! My husband and I really loved our stay here.

Great small hotel, the suites are large very comfortable bed and clean. Be prepared to walk, only 10-15 min walk to centre Old Town. Definitely recommend!!

No issue's at all, Check-in was a 3pm, they got my room ready early, and was allowed in by 2pm. Feally friendly staff, nice big studio room with comfy sofas, good Aircon.
