The layout of the home is excellent for families. Lots of space and nicely stocked. Home is old but maintained well. There were a couple inconveniences during our trip. 1 the front door key pad went dead and there were no batteries to replace but there are other entrances. 2 the on suite bathroom toilet doesn’t shut off and clogs easily. Home is about 20 minutes from downtown. Close to grocery and on a quiet street.

Nice roomy cottage

Clean, and well kept. Will and definitely would stay again. Pool was great for the kids and was close to everything we wanted to do.

Great property with nice pool

My family really enjoyed our stay. The property was very well maintained. It had a country feel and had a nice peaceful garden. The pool was large and very private. It was short drive to the beaches and golf courses. We look forward to staying at the house next time we are in the area.

Family getaway

Great house with plenty of space, and nice outdoor area. Quiet neighborhood with little to no traffic. Communication and check in was efficient. Would I would stay here again.

Bradenton

We needed a place to stay to take care of the estate of a family member. This home and location provided this for us. When we needed to extend our stay Rose was helpful walking me through the process. While the house could use some TLC it was spacious and had everything we needed. Thank you!

The pool pumps weren’t working and we were assured that the pool was still sanitary and it’s unfortunate that it wasn’t in the best shape possible. I don’t think anyone could so coincidently assure someone that a lack of meeting standards is still a state of guarantee. Like, it actually sounds worse that you’re saying you understand this and you’re endorsing it still. Also, one of the deciding factors was the pool was super private. However, when we got there, one side of the fence was taken down and every back yard on the street was visible. That was a bummer because I would have rather booked somewhere else had I known there was a change in privacy. Lots of things felt like our booking was an afterthought, despite having booked the place a month in advance. The garbage service was not being done at the home and the garbage cans were overflowing. My partner had to pick up a bunch of garbage that wasn’t even ours as it spilled over into the street. Upon arrival, it was difficult to unlock the home due to the batteries being dead at the front door. I would’ve thought that was something that would’ve been checked and assured was functioning the night or day before you had people checking in the property. This, the pool was not clean, and we had to hunt for tv remotes. The back yard area with the picnic table and floating deck is very unsafe. I walked out there a few times and then stopped because some planks were bowed and unstable. Having a carport was nice and the h

Smell was terrible and house was old and dirty

Awful smell in the house the whole stay. Knobs in sink of queen room are broken, doesn’t drain. Shower has no pressure. Kitchen has no water pressure.Frig had no ice or waterAfter frig was changed out, it was very dirty inside and out. Pool wasn’t cleaned at all for our whole stay. We also found 3 screws in the bottom of the pool and tons of metal shavings all around the pool. 2 of us got them stuck in our feet.Trash cans had trash in them when we got here.No blinds in queen bedroomNo extra blanketsNo throw blankets in both living rooms No air mattress like stated onlineVery few bath towelsNot enough toilet paper and no extra to be found in the houseOnly half a roll of paper towels when we arrived.Everything was very old and dirty.The smell was the worst. Had to open windows to let the house air out.

Property suffering from serious neglect

Evolve does not communicate through the VRBO app, even though there is a “chat” feature to contact the host directly and message them through the VRBO app. All of my initial inquiries went unanswered. Once I was able to get in contact with Evolves help line, accessing the property went fairly smooth. The condition of the home was drastically misrepresented in the photographs. The yard was completely overgrown (found out the landscaping crew had been on vacation for 3 weeks). Dirty band-aides, cigarette butts and bottle caps around the pool area. Candy under the couches. Rust and something green growing in the window of the hallway bathroom. Burnt out bulbs and janky wiring everywhere (fire hazards). Dirty kitchen appliances, that were not cleaned after the last guests. The home is suffering from serious neglect and it looks like they are simply pocketing the cleaning and maintenance fees and not using the money to upkeep the house. When I reported these issues, the management company wanted us to spend our vacation time waiting around the house for them to send people by to fix issues that should have been addressed prior to us checking in. At least the bed sheets and towels were clean. Very disappointed, but we were 2300 miles from home and had no other options. Evolve has done nothing to rectify the situation and getting ahold of someone that can help has become increasingly more difficult. If they fixed up the property and did some routine maintenance, it could be nice.
