1. it's pricy (maybe it was not the good time when I booked the room). 2. I paid for my breakfast when I booked my room. But other people said it's free. So no matter you paid or not, you will get the breakfast. 3. found a big midge in the room. I kept fighting with those midges in Iceland but did not expect in the hotel room

I would never stay at this hotel again. They overcharge for very small rooms because they are the only hotel within walking distance of the airport. Staying at this hotel was the only regret of my vacation.

Super convenient airport hotel

We were only here for a quick overnight stay but this is the perfect hotel if you need to catch a very early flight from Keflavik Airport. Just take an evening Flybus from Reykjavik and you are here, practically on the airport doorstep. A good hearty breakfast buffet is served very early so that won't be an issue.

This hotel is extremely convenient for Keflavik airport. Like you can walk to the airport even dragging all your luggage without needing a taxi. The rooms are extremely basic. The bed mattress was thin and uncomfortable. The bathroom only provided soap, no shampoo, conditioner or lotion. Towels were skimpy. No refrigerator, but they do let you put things in a refrigerator up front at the desk. The floors were laminate, not carpet, which is good for cleanliness but they were cold and loud to walk on, as well as slippery when just out of the shower. The breakfast is a buffet and was quite good. They had fruit, hot and cold cereal, milk, juice, coffee and a fancy coffee machine if you want espresso, capuccino, cafe latte, etc. There was also hot food -- eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, beans, Staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean. If you are looking for something convenient to the airport, especially if you have an early flight, and don't mind a very basic room, the Aurora is a perfect fit.

It's an hotel right on the doorstep of the airport. We didn't avail ourselves of the amenities other than sleep there but the room was very spacious, clean and extremely quiet given the location. I thought it was fairly expensive to be honest however it served our purpose after a very long drive the night before a flight.

The room and priperty was clean amd comfortable. No frills, but a nice property. The breakfast was very good and offered a wide variety of food items The restaurant opens for dinner only, and had a decent selection, (there isnt much close to the property aside from the airport). Overall, we were quite satisfied with out stay. It was very convenient for catching our morning flight from Keflavik airport (Reykjavik International)
