This is a clean, delightful small space. Perfect for 2 who need a get-away. Host was very attentive to the internet being stubborn during our stay. We appreciated the helpful page of directions concerning the switches, knobs & remotes that we found. There were goodies in the cupboards to share and we emptied the water bottles that were left in the frig.

Great base for busy long weekend!

We went to nearby state parks, met up with friends, and went to a day of the CATF in Shepherdstown. This was a great base for good rest and short travel distances. Much better than a hotel room in the region!

Took some much needed post Christmas rest. The flat was comfortable with everything I need, and in a great location to Hagerstown and Frederick. A great place to come back to at the end of a day exploring the area. The neighborhood was quiet, place felt modern, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it.

The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space to relax. We would definitely stay again. Just a side note the walk to the room is down a slightly steep path in the yard. We did fine but it would be difficult for some.

We were very pleased to find this Boonsboro Studio property exactly as described in their listing. Very clean and wonderfully decorated. No doubt about it, was first class all the way. From the greeting text Rita & Dave (owners) to have a most pleasant stay, to their thank you for staying at "On The Pike" after we left. All amenities were in perfect order, and did not need any assistance. It was a wonderful stay and would like to do again.

Quick Visit to Nearby Family

Everything was as described in the listing. Very comfortable and well purposed. Great property for a couple that just needs a place to rest and not doing any heavy cooking! We were occupied all day long for three days with our family so this was a great location to return to in the evening, relax and watch a movie, shower and go to bed! Linens and towels are great quality and the kitchenette is perfect for snacks and continental breakfast or heating things up! Owners were very helpful checking in as it was late and we were a little turned around finding the location so they were quick to come to our aid! Recommend checking in during daytime hours as it was a little tricky in the dark!

The property was nice, but the driveway is very tight and not well marked. The heat could not be controlled, and it was quite warm and uncomfortable. Path is hard to navigate.

Beautiful, just as described

My husband and I recently stayed at On the Pike as my husband was a groomsman in a nearby wedding. It was our first trip away from our kids ever and that put us on edge a bit, but staying here eased our stress. It was beautiful, very clean, and the hosts reached out via text before our arrival which was thoughtful. They made sure we had an iron/ironing board for our wedding attire upon arrival. They even left the outside lights on for us after our late night rehearsal dinner. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, the bathroom was tiled beautifully, and although we didn't need to use it, the kitchen area has a full sized fridge, coffee pot, microwave, popcorn and coffee available, as well as various cooking utensils, mugs, etc. It is just as it seems from the pictures (which is not always the case) and you will not be disappointed with your stay.
