Requested a late arrival recieved a phone call and spoke to gentleman said we would be arriving late. No problems..We asked for about 6/7pm we noticed that we would be arriving later then we thought gave another phone call a lady answered told her we would be arriving about 8.30-9.30 weren't told that they couldn't accommodate the late check in were told that's ok .When we arrive at 9.30PM the place is shut and not a single word spoken about if a key was left somewhere or even a call We arrived with our 2 children who just went through an 11 hour trip to a business shut. We couldnt book elsewhere as every other business was shut also. I've never in life come across a business that just leaves you for dead. We had to sleep with our kids in the car at the park. Despicable and very Un professional would NOT recommend..

Old pub, but cleanest l’ve stayed at of this type. Only option besides Motels in town. No meals, but plenty cafes & Hotel across the road has micro brewery & renovated bars/dining. Ensuite room large with clean linen & comfortable bed.

Great for the night

For the price it was great, but it's an old pub up for sale, needs lots of work to the decor, but it was clean and comfortable and basic. The room wasn't ready at check in time, but otherwise service was fine.

Rustic old world charm.

Fine for a solo bloke ......bathroom and toilet down the hall as you would expect in an historic rustic hotel.

Standard room: No bedside table, only 2 PowerPoints, both beside the door. Plugging heater in therefore blocked door from opening so unsafe. No fridge. Easily hear conversation in next room and noise in hallway. 1 cheap plastic chair provided. Pub was closed before 7:30 on a Thursday night. They over charged for room but refund coming ( I hope).
