RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD
The beach house sits on the corner of Rodley Street and Beach Street. Rainbow Beach, Bonny Hills’ main patrolled beach, is right across the road. The off-leash dog-friendly beach is diagonally opposite, just across Vinegar Creek. Slip on your sandals, take 10 steps, and you’re there! How good is that?! Watch the kids play at the playground diagonally across the street while you relax on the deck.
MODERNISED BEACH COTTAGE
The cottage has recently received some much-needed TLC to restore it to its former glory while adding modern comforts such as a dishwasher, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, all while retaining its original charm. It features open-plan living with a relaxed, coastal beach vibe.
This is one of three original beach shacks — and the last one still standing in Bonny Hills. The cottage has hosted many families from inland NSW and Sydney since the 1950s for their coastal getaways. Back then, Bonny Hills was only accessible by dirt road!
