Quick stay in Bologna
The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and in a fun neighborhood. We only had a quick stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We were able to walk to and from the main train station in 15 mins.

To begin, this is not a hotel or inn. It is more of an Airbnb without the kitchen inside. We did get there earl with car and bags. No one answered door.They are very clear they open at 3, but we were hoping to put our suitcases in and go. The Receptionist did respond through Whats App. Luckily we use that. She was on her way. She was kind and very helpful. She even got us in our room earlier. The facility is artsy and interesting. You must have your own combo to enter. Parking is a 15 min walk. You cannot drop or roll bags to this place. Do not bring your car. Do not bring big luggage. We are gone for weeks, so this is what we had. Finally, no internet. Not great and it was never fixed. We needed to check back at home. Cranking your own wheel is how this place works. Not a hotel with major reception. And way too much to figure out on our own. Again, we used an app for that part too and we are in our 50’s. Room was bare but fine.

It was very central, and a nice cafe was just down the street. I found the room very well finished and comfortable, and shower facilities were first class. On the down sides a few minor things emerged. It was not clear how we could return to our room from the lobby as there were three stairs from the lobby - having a sign in place would have solved this. Bedside lamps would have been good, as only light from the cieling is available. In all, a very well finished and comfortable stay in the centre of Bologna, truly first class.
