Casa con Vista sul Canale by Wonderful Italy

Spacious apartment with balcony overlooking Canale delle Moline, a few steps away from Piazza Maggiore.



The apartment is on the second floor of a building without an elevator, in a central area of Bologna city. The entrance opens onto a living area which consists of an open-plan kitchen with a peninsula table, fitted with all amenities including a dishwasher, an oven and an espresso coffee machine, and a living room with a double sofa bed and a TV.

The sleeping area comes with a bedroom equipped with a queen-size bed and a bathroom with shower.

Lots of pros but one major issue

-Pros: spacious, good location (mid-way point between train station and city center, good if you are taking frequent day trips), clean, quiet.-Something that can improve: nets on doors/windows (since none available, we couldn't open them due to mosquitos), shower drains slowly, communcation with hosting company (other than check in and out, no one responded back to issues I had while we stayed for 6 days)-Major con: we had to make an appointment to check in. It was VERY stressful. The checking in person (who seemed like who was hired by the hosting company) started to badger me about check in time, accuracy of check in time, being on time, etc from the day before. We were unfortunately late since we were driving and things didn't go as planned. Had to reschedule the check in time for an hour later. He made a huge deal about "fitting us in" in his busy schedule. When we were 2 mins late to the second appointment time, he messaged us that we are 2 mins late and that he can only wait another 3 mins for us since he has another appointment. When we arrived, even without greeting me, he gave me a lecture on being on time.I have stayed at many rentals before and never had such an ungracious person greet us nor have I ever had such a strict check in process without any grace period or flexibility. Would have never chosen this place if I knew I had to be on a strict schedule like this. It was not a great start but we made the best of our stay. Such a pity since the apt is nice.

Advertised wifi and tv. Wifi was very weak and often not available. Tv worked but no english speaking tv stations. Property manager did not respond to inquiries.

Great apartment, close to everything!

We loved our stay in Bologna. The apartment had everything we needed, was centrally located between the city square and the train station. It was clean and well equipped. The property manager was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire check-in and check-out process.
