Boendet var bra och lagom avstÄnd till olika saker. Bra frukost, dock lite snÄlt tilltaget. Ett tips till Àgarna Àr att man kan ha ett kylskÄp med lite yoghurt och juice mm, dÀr gÀsterna sjÀlva kan hÀmta och fylla pÄ om sÄ önskas. Saknade ocksÄ en duschtvÄl och schampopump i duschen. Hyr man med sÀnglinne rÀknar man med att det ska finnas dusch tillbehör. Annars var det bra.

Pittoreskt B&B med trevligt vÀrdpar

Mysig friggebod utgjorde boende för oss i tvÄ nÀtter pÄ detta pittoreska och smÄskaliga B&B. Eget WC uppskattades och duschen var mer eller mindre vÀgg-i-vÀgg, vÀldigt praktisk! Den var rymlig och hade gott om riktigt skönt varmvatten (och kallvatten ocksÄ sÄ klart). Friggeboden Àr verkligen liten, med betoning pÄ liten, det mÄste man vara vÀl medveten om. Storleken i detta fall fÄr inte vara en prioritet, annars finns risk för besvikelse. Loftet dÀr sonen pÄ 5-Är huserade var vÀldigt uppskattad. DÀr trivdes han som en kung. Frukost serverades enligt en förifylld lista dÀr man fick ange vad man önskade Àta. Helt ok utbud. LÀge vÀldigt nÀra en livligt trafikerad vÀg, ICA-butik pÄ andra sidan. NÀra till Borgholm och Solliden. Mycket trevligt vÀrdpar, vÀnliga och hjÀlpsamma. Liten souvenirbutik finns pÄ plats, liksom en mindre caféverksamheten. Notera att priserna pÄ hemsidan inte riktigt stÀmmer. Vi betalade fullpris för vÄr 5-Äring Àven om det pÄ hemsidan angavs barnpriser. Vet inte om detta var korrekt men vid förfrÄgan bekrÀftades totalpriset av Àgare som tre vuxna. Helt ok prissÀttning för övrigt. StÀdningen var normal, hade dock önskat lite bÀttre utvÀdring innan inflyttning. Gott om eluttag, kylskÄp, liten diskbÀnk med husgerÄd, bra med handdukar. Kan absolut tÀnka mig att bo hÀr igen:)

Miserable

Water in the shower never got warm. Shower itself is grimy. Tiny beds with tiny thin blankets and one tiny pillow per bed. There never seemed to be anybody working there. Hotel is directly next to the highway so you never quite escape the noise. Generally miserable. There was no breakfast as advertised.

Fint til en hurtig overnatning

Vi bookede om aftenen og i oktober udenfor sÊsonen, sÄ der var ikke personale pÄ stedet. Det lykkedes at komme i kontakt med udlejer, da vi ankom, og han var flink til at give os en introduktion. Selve vÊrelset var meget standard og uden sÊrlig charme modsat forventning ift hvordan stedet ser ud udefra. Det var fint med kÞleskab pÄ vÊrelset. BadevÊrelserne i kÊlderen var gammeldags og meget simple. Cafeen virkede ret hyggelig selvom den desvÊrre ikke var Äben pÄ dette tidspunkt. Vi kan anbefale stedet til den hurtige overnatning og en god nats sÞvn.

HÄrda sÀngar som man fick bÀdda sjÀlv med slitna sÀngklÀder. Frukosten lÄngt under hotellstandard. Inte prisvÀrt alls. Men rent och helt okej i övrigt. Ett minus var dock att vi inte fick nĂ„gra handdukar, vi fick anvĂ€nda vĂ„ra egna. Jag vet inte om det bara missades eller om det inte ingick. Blev inte som vi hade förvÀntat oss

Min partner och jag anlÀnde pÄ MC ca ett par timmar innan incheckningen. Det var ca 30 grader varmt och vi hoppades pÄ att kunna fÄ lasta av och byta om till lite lÀttare klÀder. Det var stÀngt överallt och ingen personal syntes till sÄ jag ringde ett telefonnummer och en man svarade att det gick bra att checka in redan nu. Vi var tacksamma för detta. Han gav mig information om var vi kunde hitta nyckeln och att vÄr frukost fanns i det gemensamma kökets kylskÄp vilken bestod av pÄlÀgg, smör, bröd, youghurt, fil, juice och flingor. Kaffe och té fanns att tillaga. Fönstren var vidöppna pÄ rummet sÄ det var som att stiga in i en bastu. Huset ligger i en vÀgkorsning sÄ det var svÄrt att sova pga av mycket trafik. Vi hade bokat 2 nÀtter och hade verkligen hoppats pÄ att ngn personal skulle dyka upp och att fÄ tillgÄng till det mysiga caféet som var belÀget pÄ första vÄningen men inga fler gÀster kom och ingen personal visade sig vilket vi tyckte var vÀldigt opersonligt. Vi fick klara oss sjÀlva och nÀr vi checkade ut sÄ hade vi fÄtt infon att vi skulle vi lÀgga nyckeln i en lÄda utanför dörren. Bokade detta stÀllet efter att ha lÀst andras recensioner vilka verkade vara hur trevliga som helst. Var för fick inte vi ocksÄ uppleva liknande?

A Very Good B&B at the heart of Öland

We loved Edith & Julia B&B! We arrived late in off-season. The owner Stefan had already sent us an email informing about check-in and his mobile number. When we were crossing the bridge to Öland we called him to inform that we were on our way and he responded quickly and was at the B&B when we arrived. He answered very knowledgeable all our questions about the island, the check-in went smooth and we were given a room with a private entrance. The room was good, clean and comfortable. Look forward to return to Öland to discover and enjoy the island more and we would definitely choose Edith & Julia B&B again!
