Still needs some work. Hallways are dark and dreary. Not sure the flooring in the rooms was the way to go as they are noisy above and below your room. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The VIP status got us a bottle of wine was there supposed to be other amenities as a VIP?

Absolutely lovely stay. Marina view rooms are beautiful. Staff are so friendly, breakfast is incredible with so much choice of hot and cold, bed is maybe a little harder than Ilike but that's life.

The rooms have a lovely balcony overlooking the marina which offers a beautiful view both by day and night. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The hotel is conveniently situated near to the town, railway station and bus station.

The property was very conveniently located by the marina and just outside the old city walls. It was very easy to access and was also very close to the train station. The property had a nice bar on the 5th floor and the restaurant where we had breakfast had spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, the old town of Faro, the Ria Formosa islands and the marina. The hotel room we stayed in was comfortable but not necessarily worth the price.

Stayed for 2 nights in early January. Got a Marina facing room in the 1st floor. Pros: clean room, comfortable bed, reasonable sized washroom, great gym with lots of free weights and machines and an excellent breakfast buffet with tons of hot and cold options. Cons: no facial tissue/Kleenex in the rooms, no facial (small) towels in the bathroom, no instructions on how to operate the room safe.

This is a great hotel in a beautiful location right near the marina. Beds were comfortable, there was a great fitness room and staff was great! The breakfast was spectacular with a view of the marina and a piano accompaniment. 5 stars. If you are going to Faro - stay here.

Top marks for Eva Senses, Faro!

A beautiful location overlooking the marina. Excellent buffet breakfasts. Lobby restaurant Adao also excelled. Within short walking distance of shopping area as well as the old walled town which is well worth walking through. We were there for New Year - the fireworks were stunning and we enjoyed a lovely view of them from our balcony. Great bus and train service to other parts of the Algarve.
