Our Pond House sits on a 15-acre pond on a peninsula, complete with a boat dock and scenic views. You can enjoy the soft sounds of water and a South Georgia country evening from a screened-in porch, or watch the sunrise over nearby pastures across the water. With the Pond House’s countryside charm, along with modern amenities including AC/heat, this house is perfect for a getaway staycation.
The Pond House can accommodate a large group with flexible sleeping arrangements and two bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other bedroom hosts two twin beds, and the living room has a sleeper couch that can turn into a queen bed. This setup can sleep up to six people.
The Pond House also has a kitchen with a refrigerator, pots and pans, and basic plate ware.
This house does not have Wi-Fi, but it does have a television. We find that many groups actually enjoy being “unplugged” during their stay. These accommodations offer a “digital detox” experience, so make sure to bring books and games, or at the very least, make sure you enjoy spending time with your travel companions!
To reach our Pond House cabin, the final section of road you’ll drive on is a dirt road that is not paved. If possible, especially if there has been recent rain, we recommend bringing a vehicle with four-wheel drive (if this may be an issue for you, we suggest considering our downtown Bluffton accommodations instead).
