Beautiful home on the river

Everything about this home is perfect. Stocked with everything you need and more. Beds are comfortable and the layout is great for large groups. The host even provides tubes so you can tie up and float in the river. Peaceful environment yet it’s only 7 minutes to downtown and grocery stores. The perfect location!

Great vacation at the Cartecay River House

Everything from booking to checkout was seamless and problem-free. Great location steps away from the Cartecay River, and plenty of room for our family of 9 adults and 3 children. The host is available with a phone call and was very pleasant and helpful.

Wonderful Family Getaway

This is our 3rd year staying in the home and it was still just as nice as the first time. Kathy is always kind and very responsive. The home is prefect for our 10 people. Kitchen is stocked well for all of our cooking needs.

Peaceful retreat, great location.

The Cartecay River House was the peaceful retreat our families needed. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 6 children, all under 10 years old. The sound of the river was what we all neeeded to relax and realign with nature. With young children, the close proximity to town and the short drive to Amicalola Falls was just right. And, the bedding was dreamy. We hope to come back soon!

Great cabin for a birthday getaway!

We rented this cabin for my 40th birthday weekend with four couples. It was perfect for all of us. We never felt like we were on top of each other because the cabin was spacious. One of the few cabins with a king bed in every bedroom! The cabin was so well stocked and equipped with everything we needed. Also very clean!

Wonderful house!

This house was great. There was so much space, even for 9 occupants. The decks with river view was wonderful as was the outside swing on the deck. The beds were super comfortable. The house was very well equipped.
