This is our second stay on this farm property. It’s always wonderful to enjoy this house, the animals, and the owner family. Great space, especially for an extended stay.
This picturesque area was perfect for our family to stay while in town for a week. The yard was perfect for the kid’s activities and is quite beautiful. The home was as described and we have no complaints at all!
Stayed four nights as a central location to the places we wanted to visit, very clean, plenty of room for myself and the other two adults. Jason was a great host and communicated very well with us. Will definitely consider booking this home again should we visit this area again.
I enjoyed my stay here. The house was clean and big enough for my family. The host was very attentive and great at answering any questions or anything we needed. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you.
The yard was well trimmed and neat. The house was clean, just a bit older in style. Updates were noted. We stayed overnight with no issues. My granddaughter found several toys to play with and enjoyed that.
We were there for graduation. About 20 minutes from campus. I don’t drink so I drove my whole family to campus and numerous after parties. It was more affordable than being right downtown but not too far at all.
We stayed for 3 nights during our fall vacation. Property was great! The sheep were a big hit with the kids. Our youngest (13months) walked out to greet them several times a day. The trail was beautiful and two fire pits gave us a couple options each night for hot dogs and marshmallow roasting. Close to walmart for anything you might forget. Parks in area were fantastic. Loved our stay and the host was great!
The two of us had more than enough room. Way more!
This solid brick ranch has three comfortable full size bedrooms. Those rooms along with the formal dining room, the large kitchen, a fine back porch are all nicely appointed.
Beautiful in fact! The property itself appears to be wooded farmland. Literally minutes from the I.U. campus. Hello Parents!
The only objection some might have is the interstate freeway highway, which is near enough to be heard distinctly in the front yard (a working sheep pasture BTW!), perhaps somewhat inside and backyard. The ambient sound no doubt is why this is such a value.
Didn't both us.
Recommended highly, we'll return.
Booked two nights at this place and we went in with low expectations after viewing the pictures. I understand that it's dated and a little older, I'm perfectly fine with that, but what I'm not okay with is how dirty the place was. Right when you walk in, it smells funny and looks like a time capsule from 1970. The front concrete porch area is down right dangerous with a huge crack that juts up, huge tripping hazard if you have any older ones staying with you. The fridge was disgusting with food and spills all over it and there was an old (looked like used for a month) dish sponge in the sink. We stayed there for about 30 min and then just left. I contacted the owner who didn't reply to my message until 13 hours later (it was late at night) but when he finally did reply he said there was "considerable cleanup" needed as he found crumbs on the floor and we disturbed the beds and towels. He promised to refund me 50% which is fair, but he charged me $20 for an additional guest? I messaged him asking what that charge was for and he said "that's how their pricing structure is setup". But there was only 4 of us in a 3 bedroom house. I'm just glad it's over with because it caused way more stress than any rental I've ever been in.
