Hotel with a view

The most beautiful location for a hotel! Our balcony had stunning views of Lake Bled - I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere with such a gorgeous view. The hotel itself was a little dated but the service was great and there was car parking too. Breakfast options were brilliant and the sun loungers next to the lake weee perfect for a midday dip!

Expensive hotel but some issues question 5 star ra

Although the hotel has a 5 star rating, there were a few points that failed to achieve this rating (1) Some paint peeling off patio doors in room, (2) Staff poring red wine without asking to be tasted, (3) pudding provided too soon after main course completed on one night.

From the moment we arrived at the Grand Hotel Toplice in Lake Bled, we were completely enchanted. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a welcome cocktail in the sitting room lobby — and let me tell you, sipping that drink while taking in the most breathtaking view I’ve ever seen felt like a dream. The service here is in a league of its own — truly the highest caliber I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal, warm, and effortless. Our room was absolutely perfect, and I have to give special mention to the water pressure (a small but very important detail for me!) — it was spot on. The location couldn’t be better — just steps from charming shops, delicious restaurants, and local events. But the crown jewel of our stay? The hotel’s private beach. With bar service, attentive personal butlers, and the best possible access to swim in Lake Bled, it was pure bliss. I have never recommended a hotel more highly in my life. Out of all of our global travels and experiences with Small Luxury Hotels, this one stands at the very top of my list. We will absolutely be returning — the Grand Hotel Toplice has officially become my favorite stay in the world.

Location of the Hotel is amazing. Over looking the lake. However, the hotel needs updating definitely not five star more like 3 to 4 room cleanliness not very good. Fruit left rotting not cleaned thoroughly each day bins not emptied . Hotel facilities very poor
