Everything good about the property was ruined by the behaviour and noise coming from nearby rooms and which started just before midnight. We had to report the noise to reception and somebody did visit rooms shortly after. But the noise and shouting started again and obviously another room complained as reception had to visit again. The noise continued until after 2am.

Ok but nothing startling.

Hotel room was ok but nothing startling. Fairly small but ok for a couple of nights. Breakfast was £10 per person and was good quality with a fair selection for the price.

Lovely stay

Enjoyed our stay overall, nice hotel and good location. Had a late check at around 8pm due to travel and stood at the reception for around 25 minutes waiting for someone to check us in, pool staff passed and said she wouldn’t be long however still had to wait another 10 minutes after this, she eventually came and told us she was housekeeping as well that night. Our room was lovely, plenty space with a huge bed. Pillows could have been better quality or a better selection. We enjoyed the facilities (pool and spa).

It was noisy. The sheets and headboard were stained. There were bobby pins on the floor between the wall and toilet which indicated a lack of a through cleaning.

I liked the shower in the bathroom but as an OAP would have liked a non slip bathmat. Staff on the whole were friendly and helpful. The Steam Room was not initially working on Sunday afternoon. I did not like my very noisy radiator. that sounded like a machine gun and kept me awake. I did not like an alarm going off at 05.14 then again some minutes later with no good explanation when I rang reception to find out what it was.

I strayed one night and the room was excellent. I went to the gym and swimming pool. The gym was quite cramped and some equioemnt was too close together. The changing room floor was really dirty / I ate in the restaurant the food was good and the service was excellent

Could be great, needs a few things tidied up.

We liked the location but felt a few things were overlooked. The room was clean but a little shabby - torn material on chair and on base of bed. The mattress was very soft. Staff were friendly and helpful but we felt left wanting more, for example when checking in the staff member was on the phone - no problem, we were happy to wait, but she never acknowledged us or apologised afterwards. Dinner was expensive for bar food and again the service needed a little polish. Drinks prices were very reasonable and cost for the stay was good. If it wasn't for the mattresses I would stay again.

Only stayed one night, however what we experienced was excellent. Very clean and fresh. We had an issue with the TV which couldn’t be resolved, staff were great and immediately moved us rooms, can’t fault this hotel and will definitely return in the future.

Health and safety issues with the sauna. Shower pipes in the changing rooms are leaking bad. In the first room they had to put a portable heater in the room because the heating wasn't working? I feel so sorry for the staff. Their holding Thier heads up high to a hotel that needs a complete refurbishment. How they can charge this amount for the state of this hotel is beyond me . I hope the main owners read this and go pay this hotel a visit. And to thank they're employees for the wonderful work they do to keep this hotel just about running .
