I immediately smelled cigarette smoke and marijuana upon exiting the elevator. The air conditioner is dirty so I have to keep it turned off. Parking and staff were adequate.

I come from NJ a few times a year to see my son at VT. I was here this weekend, 2 nights, for a football game. I have stayed at hotels in Blacksburg and Christiansburg the last 2 years. I will not be staying at this hotel again for the following reasons- you can hear people through the walls, people walking in the room above you, the heater in the room is a bit loud, the bed was just ok, I took a shower and because the shower curtain is too short for the tub, when I was done there was water on the floor that I had to clean up, there is only a small pack of soap in the bathroom to use for washing your hands and taking a shower. There is no free breakfast like other hotels. The hotel seems a bit older, especially in regard to the furniture and the mirror behind the bed

Perfect one night stay

It was the perfect hotel we needed for our visit. We were in the room for nine hours total just to shower and sleep so it did its job. We would certainly stay here again for another one-nighter.

On first night they provided us a very narrow room with no basic appliances. Upon asking on the next morning, they shifted us to another room with all specified amenities. this room was really value for money.

Staff was very good and helpful. Only thing was that I had a leaky faucet in my room. Wish I had a refrigerator as I did not notice that there was not one when I booked. There was no coffee maker in the room but they had some barely warm coffee in the wee hours of the am. Good price and good place to stay for an overnight. Did not have breakfast as we were gone too early but I think it is only a cold breakfast.

Overall this hotel was average. I reserved a double queen room. Upon checkin I told the front desk attendant I wanted a quiet room. After driving eight hours we were tired and needed to sleep. She said since I booked online they cannot change the room. So we ended up with a room right by the interstate. Instead of getting some good sleep, we heard the traffic going by all night long. Make sure do your research before booking a room at this property!

The pictures of the property are very very enhanced. The property is in need of renovations and updates. Having said that, it was clean, the bed was super cozy and comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure.

Room was clean, very basic and very small for 2 people. It advertised a queen bed but it was more like a double bed. The bathroom was clean but showed its age (rusting around the toilet paper holder), shower head would not adjust. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful.
