Property was cheap so didn’t expect much, main areas seemed pleasent, rooms were very dated, needs renovations. Stains on carpet, bed so squeaky didn’t want to move, musky smell around hotel, corridors had crumbs all over carpets, looked like it doesn’t get cleaned often, entrance doors even jam trying to enter. Would recommend paying extra and staying somewhere else

we have to wait for long time and then the guy told us there’s no family room left and we have to contact the hotels.com then i found that they gave my room to deferent family after a lot of argument the supervisor came ask me to wait for some more time then he sort the the problem thanks to him he upgrade the room

Check what’s on in the area

The food included wasn’t a great standard very basic and clearly pre cooked and thrown in oven. The service at reception was quite rude when asking about the children running around the halls at 11:30 at night. I would advice to check if any event are happening at the time of your stay unfortunately we booked during a sports weekend and lots 60+ of teenage footballers where at the property for the full weekend.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, the place felt tired and poorly maintained. The room was dirty – dust on surfaces, stains on the carpet, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in some time. The whole place felt run-down and in need of serious attention. Check-in was slow and unwelcoming. Staff seemed disinterested and offered little information or assistance. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. Breakfast was no better. Poorly stocked, lukewarm food, and again, very little customer service. Tables weren’t being cleared, and the overall atmosphere was chaotic and uninviting. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again and definitely wouldn’t recommend it. There are much better options available at similar prices – this one just doesn’t live up to even the most basic standards.

Stayed here lots of times just me and my son. Soon as got out of the lift for our room the smell of ciggarette smoke was terrible, eveb our room had a slight smell. I rang down stairs but no answer so we went swimming. When comong back from swimming the smell was even worse. I went to speak to recpetion onxe we went down early evening and the man just said " what floor r u on" so i told him and he wrote something down and that was it. There was no im sorry or can we swap your room or anything i was a bit gobsmacked so just left it and i felt awkward not knowing what to say. Then non of the drinks we wanted were available and ran out at the bar. Then constant knocking and banging on our bedroom wall very late then again early in the morning. To add to that aswell there was long hair on the bathroom floor and lots of it

Came to stay for the weekend to attend a wedding... on arrival, place looks amazing.... then getting keys to open the room....shocked..... its nothing like the pictures or even the decoration of down stairs. The room is old fashioned. Lamp shades dont fit the lamps, TV kept turning off.. only 3 plugs to use.. bath was dirty and stained. Then i had to go on the hunt to find toilet rolls and clean bath towels , twice ! Also hunting for th3 coffee and tea bags as none were left as no house keeping came at all. This place isnt cheap nearly 300 pound for 2 nights.. and you have to pay extra for car parking per day. The kettle is all dented. There isnt anything grand about this place at all.
