È stata un'esperienza straordinaria, addirittura superiore alle aspettative. L'hotel Ăš un vero gioiello: poche camere, un'atmosfera intima, estremamente pulito e curato in ogni dettaglio. Si ha la sensazione di essere a casa, il che contribuisce a creare un ambiente molto rilassante. Il ristorante Ăš altrettanto raffinato, con un'atmosfera romantica e una vista mozzafiato sul mare: assistere al tramonto mentre si cena Ăš un'esperienza che difficilmente dimenticheremo. Un ringraziamento speciale a tutto il personale, sempre gentile e sorridente, in particolare alla Sig.ra Emily e allo Chef Jonathan, che ci ha deliziato con le sue prelibatezze. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chiunque voglia visitare Mauritius: si trova in una posizione ideale, a breve distanza dalle principali attrazioni e dalle spiagge piĂč belle.

We loved the hotel’s position right on the beach. The staff were very friendly. But could be better with just a few tweaks, like some chairs need cushions on. Less time waiting for orders to be taken and food did take a while sometimes. Rooms were good but being an older couple the stairs were an issue for us as there is no lift. We would stay again if we come back here to see our son as it was a nice break to recuperate after a long flight.

Les apprĂ©ciations sont faites en rapport au prix payĂ© pour la prestation, franchement cher payĂ©. À ce niveau de prix les prestations dans d’autres hĂŽtels sont meilleures , vraiment! L’accueil n’est pas chaleureux , les 2 nuits rĂ©veillĂ©s de 4 Ă  7h par les chiens ( bon ça c’est Maurice en gĂ©nĂ©ral mais bon lĂ  vraiment bcp) La nourriture n’est pas exceptionnelle. DĂ©solĂ© mais je suis franc et j’espĂšre cela servira aux clients hĂŽtel.com et aussi amĂ©lioration pour le patron.

Very pleasant, but perhaps overpriced

Rooms are pleasant with simple, clean design in muted colours. Bed and pillows are comfortable. I took a standard room and was given room 12-- I think it may be the smallest and least inspiring in the hotel with no view at all. I think/hope other rooms with balconies might have been better. The "beach" is very small. People were laying on sun beds but no one seemed to be swimming. This area seems to be mostly for boat tethering/launching. The pool was also quite small. The casual restaurant is very pleasant, with a view right on the water Nice non-alcoholic drinks (not all sweet) and a fun tapas menu. Guests can easily walk to the main road which has restaurants and some shops within one or two km. I highly recommend nearby Bistrot de la Poste restaurant--- one of the best meals I had in Mauritius. Overall, I enjoyed this hotel. It's not really a beach hotel, more of an urban hotel on the water's edge, but after days at secluded resorts, I liked having an adjacent neighbourhood to explore. However, I do feel my stay was not worth the over 200 USD I paid. As mentioned above, my room had no view. Amenities in the room were very basic: no face cloth/towel, no lotion, no beauty kit with cotton pads etc. And the vibe killer for me was the fact that they charge $20 (90 rupees) for each cup of coffee that guests make FOR THEMSELVES in their room. It's not about the money, but it's in bad taste to charge for such a thing when the guest has paid so much for the room.

Eine sehr schöne, ĂŒbersichtliche und vor allem phĂ€nomenal gelegene kleinere Unterkunft direkt am Strand von Tamarin (La Preneuse). Vor Ort gibt es alles, was man braucht, von verschiedenen Sitz- und Liegegelegenheiten an Pool und Strand ĂŒber das wirklich sehr gute Restaurant am Abend bis hin zu gelegentlich dargebotener Live-Musik (ein Gesangs- und Gitarrenduo am Samstagabend, wirklich toll!). Der Service bedient an jedem Platz, dadurch, dass auch hotelfremde GĂ€ste Restaurant und Terrasse besuchen, dauert es manchmal ein wenig. Es gibt keinen Grund, das Hotel zu verlassen (sofern man keine EntdeckerplĂ€ne hat), wenn man sich hauptsĂ€chlich entspannen und die SonnenuntergĂ€nge genießen will. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit direktem Meerblick und konnten den Strand und den Sonnenuntergang auch von unserer Terrasse aus beobachten. Die offenen, nur mit SchiebetĂŒren abgetrennten BadrĂ€umlichkeiten sind vielleicht etwas gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftig, aber alles im allem ist es eine sehr angenehme, ordentliche und luxuriös anmutende Location, ohne abgehoben zu wirken. In der Ecke von Tamarin bis Flic en Flac können wir das Hotel bedenkenlos jedem ans Herz legen, der Wert auf StrandnĂ€he und eine gute Versorgung legt (gerade auch, da im Winter viele GeschĂ€fte/Restaurants und Imbisse in der Stadt frĂŒh schließen oder gar nicht erst öffnen).

SĂ©jour fabuleux Ă  The Bay. Guest housse Ă  taille humaine avec Accueil et personnel exceptionnel, chambre supĂ©rieure avec terrasse vue ocĂ©an spacieuse, trĂšs propre, avec une literie trĂšs confortable, une dĂ©coration Ă©purĂ©e. La restauration face Ă  l’ocĂ©an est variĂ©e et raffinĂ©e. Quant aux activitĂ©s proposĂ©es, elles sont elles aussi diverses avec notamment possibilitĂ© de faire une excursion en mer pour nager avec les dauphins et snorkeling au lever du soleil, juste magnifique. Disappointing Stay at The Bay

We stayed at The Bay for 3 nights as part of a longer vacation. Unfortunately, the service was lacking, the staff were unhelpful and misleading, and their English skills were limited. On day 3, after placing the cleaning request sign on our door, our room was finally cleaned. However, upon our return, we found that neither the toilet nor the shower had been properly cleaned, and the dirty towels were still on the floor. This was especially frustrating as our room had not been cleaned at all on day 2, despite the request sign being displayed. The food in the restaurant is decent, but you quickly become dependent on it since there are no real dining alternatives in the surrounding area.
