A few friends and I stayed to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was excellent — something not many places can match. The reception was warm and welcoming. Debbie, in particular, was efficient, offered great suggestions for evening activities, and delivered her service with a genuine smile.

Noisy

The bedroom was noisy due to a soil down pipe being located near to the main bedroom. When rooms above flushed the toilet, the sound of waste falling could be heard in the bedroom and bathroom. This happened throughout the night when anyone in the hotel flushed the toilet.

Shame about checkout

As per my other reviews. Its brilliant accommodation in a central area. Tjw apartments are clean and well equipped. The staff are lovely On checkout we were asked for payment, i explained it was booked/paid through Hotel.com the staff member was very busy, but quite instant we had payment to make and wanted to see the email from Hotel.com before they would check us out, with a taxi waiting on the meter this is not the last experience i wanted from these guys. But would still recommend ruem 100%

Fabulous Stay

A last minute booking which turned out to be an excellent choice. Great location, parked outside the door for free (parking charges do apply at certain times however), a great welcome and an excellent studio room. Clean room, spacious, well equipped kitchen, large wet room, really comfortable super king bed and a great night's sleep. We would definitely come again.

If you're looking for a place to stay when you're going to events at the Utilia Arena Birmingham (or even just going into the city centre), then look no further than the Staycity Aparthotel in the Jewellery Quarter....just an easy 10 minute walk down the canalside path to ghe Arena. It was our first time staying in any Staycity Aparthotel, and we were definitely not disappointed. The apartment was well designed, with separate living room and bedroom. The bed was so comfy.......I had the best night's sleep that I've had in a long time. The shower was a decent size, and really powerful too. There is also onsite secure parking too.......there are only a couple of dozen spaces though, so early booking is a must. Breakfast had a good choice, and was plentiful, and ghe staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. We highly recommend this Staycity Aparthotel
