All good. Service was a little slow on the occasions I used this, which was more to do with the staff being stretched rather than individual levels of service. Not sufficient staff for volumes of people at the bar and breakfast

Wonderful period hotel with beautiful gardens

Huge and pretty room with antique furniture including a super comfy four poster, and a large and super clean bathroom. Great to have the spa included and lovely to see the beautiful gardens

A beautiful setting this grade 2 listed building has so much character. There were a few minor issues but they were far outweighed by the positives. Architecture and the gardens were exquisite. Would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

I walked into town for a theatre visit. Grounds were dark walking back and a bit tricky spotting speed humps. I used the torch on my phone but a few low level lights on drive edge would help.

Lovely property, poor rooms

Lovely looking place and very helpful and friendly staff, rooms unfortunately a let down, a bit grubby, worn furniture, marks and stains on the bedding and the bed was a twin pushed together which I nearly fell through the middle of and the bathroom sink was cracked in multiple places. This was all an executive room too so not sure what we got over a standard. Wouldnt stay there again.
