Excellent service but shower lacking quality

Excellent service as always on the front desk and restaurant. Disappointed with the shower as could not get cool enough as very hot and knob kept getting stuck for the thermostat. Breakfast excellent

The staff were so helpful and the room had everything we needed. Room service was excellent and any queries or questions we had were answered immediately. Car parking was convenient but a little expensive. If they could reduce the cost of this that would be great for the guests.

Nice hotel would stay again

This was a very decent hotel with a good breakfast. It is fairly easy walk from the train station and easy to get to Edgbaston for the cricket. Breakfast was very busy but well managed so everything was always available.

Check in team were excellent we were early so took bags, went back remembered my name which was nice touch! Every member of staff couldn’t help more. Hotel is lovely, room was lovely only thing was no fridge but not a big issue! Breakfast was great and the bar was lovely with good cocktails!! Highly recommended!

Bathroom ancient and not fit for purpose

Excellent service and super comfy beds. Shower unusable, ancient and faulty shower head over bath, looked like hadn't been used in years. Sink plug in bathroom faulty, when running tap even just brushing teeth the sink filled up as wouldn't drain properly so had to empty using overflow. Quite possibly the worst and most outdated hotel bathroom Ive ever had. We were exhausted by this point with heatwave and long journey or id have complained and moved rooms but as was one night we managed. Room was clean and beds really comfy, aircon super noisy but effective during 30 degree heat. So a mixed bag really. Staff really lovely but wouldnt use hotel again I dont think and couldn't honestly recommend Im afraid.

Brilliant hotel in Brum!

This is a great hotel in a central location. Really comfortable room, exceptional staff and customer service. The breakfast was amazing and the staff went out of their way to make up a tray of vegan options for my daughter who wasn't feeling too good.
