The host requires you complete the following before checking out:

Load and start the dishwasher

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash

Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys

All trash must be taken to the trash facility, per city ordinance. Site #1 is at 41974 Garstin Rd., BBL. Site #2 is located at 39690 Big Bear Blvd, BBL. $25 charge per bag for any trash/food left.

Make sure the hot tub is set at 80 degrees, the jets are off, and it is locked. Clear the BBQ rack of food. Turn the propane off. Please put the cover back on the patio furniture.

Pick up all pet waste, trash, and cigarette butts. Turn the fireplace is turned off. Make sure the thermostat is turned on and at 55 degrees. Leave remote controls next to the TVs.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

There is a $50.00 pet fee. You must clean up all dog waste. Failure to do so will result in an additional cleaning fee.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing, close to every and anything Big bear has to offer. The view is lovely, the hot tub was the cherry on top. The cabin felt so homey, clean, comfy and they had a fully stocked kitchen. We had such a lovely time. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I loved our stay at this rental. The house is laid out nicely, everything is clean and easy to use. It was easy to set the thermostat. Michael is a great host was very attentive and communicative. Especially liked the blackout curtains in the bedrooms.

This was our first stay in Big Bear and this cute little cabin was perfect for us, our two kiddos (12 and 14) and our small poodle! The location was convenient, close to restaurants, alpine slide, and the village, and the neighborhood was super quiet. There was plenty of room to spread out and the hot tub was perfect for the four of us! The place was well stocked with everything we needed and the host was super attentive, responding to any questions very quickly throughout the entire process. The beds were maybe a little firmer than I normally like, but everything else was great! Thank you!!

The kitchen is very well stocked with amenities, the fireplace is beautiful and the overall decor and vibe is designed to make you feel cozy. Stayed for three nights while on a snowboarding trip. The cabin is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Check-in process was seamless. The driveway is very close to the front door so unloading luggage and gear was quick and easy. Cabin was very clean. Fully stocked kitchen with nice appliances. Coffee maker worked well. As an avid coffee drinker I loved the coffee set up. Lots of creamers and sugar packets in the cabinet. There was also an espresso machine available for use if you’re into that. We used the propane stove to cook breakfast and dinner several times. There was even a fully stocked spice rack. The patio has a small propane grill. I used that twice and it worked well. The hot tub was nice also. It was warmed up and ready to go when we checked in. We enjoyed it each much after snowboarding. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were both nice and had clean showers. No complaints. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The cabin has adequate room and still feels cozy. Having all bedrooms upstairs a plus for privacy. Kitchen is updated and well equipped. Our host was very responsive to the few questions we had. Great location very peaceful and minimal traffic. The neighbors are building a new unit next door but, fortunately no construction or noise was going on during our stay. Would definitely like to visit this unit again.

We just wrapped up a wonderful stay at Big Bear Lake, and this cabin made the whole trip easy from start to finish.First impression, spotless. The cabin felt fresh, well cared for, and comfortable the moment we walked in. The kitchen was the real standout; it was fully stocked with what you actually need, not just the basics. We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal without scrambling for missing tools or extra supplies. Truly, the only thing we had to bring was the food.Michael, the host, was also excellent. He stayed responsive and helpful the entire time. When we had a question or needed something, he replied quickly, sometimes within minutes. That kind of communication matters when you are traveling and want things handled quickly.Another big win for us, the fenced-in yard. It was perfect for our four-legged grandchild and gave us peace of mind while still letting everyone enjoy the outdoor space.We would recommend this place without hesitation, and we already look forward to coming back.

The cabin was clean and restaurants and shops were a short drive away. The host was very responsive and sent us clear instructions on how to operate the spa, BBQ, and checkout process. Also, it was nice that coffee pods were provided for the coffee maker.The only issue we had is the listing mentioned air conditioning but when we got there it was portable AC only in the upstairs bedrooms. This would be fine in the winter months but when it’s summer and 85 degrees, it was a bit uncomfortable. The host mentioned he is working with VRBO to make this clear so guests aren’t surprised during their stay. Overall, I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a family friendly place to stay.
