Memories gone very sad

Very sad our little mountain retreat is no more The property is in such bad condition this will have been our last visit It was very dirty most plug ins not wrking sinks plugged furniture broken tv substandard And just so dirty Trash all over property long term residents smoking with butts all over ground so so sad And top it off price was premium ..bye bye our precious fireside lodge

Great family getaway!

Great place right on the lake, very cozy feeling cabin with a real wood fireplace that was great for making s'mores with the kids and plenty of space. enjoyed the balcony with the view over the lake with the morning cup of coffee. The full kitchen was nice so that we could cook our own breakfast and get to the mountains early without having to find food on the way out for the day.

Had to book this last minute. Booked the family suite. Arrived and the hotel room was filthy. Stains all over the carpets and couches. Dirty floor boards and stains on the walls in the bathrooms. Went to the owner to request

Run down property that is missing the basics. Stayed in a family suite with kitchen. No plates (just bowls), no forks (just spoons), no sling or paper towels, horrible blankets for the couch bed, cold water. Everything was old and needed to be cleaned. Paper thin walls. The only positive was location and they accept pets.

Not a great experience the fireplace wasn’t working, it got fixed but it only runs 1hr in a timer, then the heater didn’t work a once again had to call them. To finalize they come in to the room without knocking one hr before check out
