Walking into the expansive home on the hill, you'll find yourself nestled among the treetops, yet only a 5-minute drive from the quaint beachside town of Bicheno. Far beyond just providing a place to stay, this elevated 3-bedroom home offers an experience that is truly unforgettable, with panoramic vistas of bush-covered mountains, a sprawling golf course, and the glistening sea.
Perched gracefully on an expansive 8-acre property, the home seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings. The interior, adorned with the warm embrace of Cypress floors, the timeless allure of Pine walls, and a stylish Blackwood kitchen, exudes an atmosphere that is simultaneously cozy and modern. Picture waking up each morning to the gentle caress of sun rays filtering through large windows, bathing the space in a golden glow. A hot coffee on the deck, wrapped in the warm embrace of a blanket watching the golfers tee off on the greens below - It's a special moment.
Immerse yourself in the tranquility of Tasmania's East Coast while enjoying some of the most rare and breathtaking views spanning from Seymour to Diamond Island. Each of the three bedrooms has been thoughtfully designed to capture and frame the beauty of the surroundings, offering ocean views that promise to leave an indelible mark on your memory. Bedroom 1 is the master and boasts the most beautiful, hand crafted wooden bed head above the Queen bed. Built in wardrobes are included. Bedroom 2 is up the hallway, next to the bathroom. This is the middle bedroom with a Queen bed, and guests who want to access bedroom 3 need to walk through here (or out on the deck and back in to bedroom 3). Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed and a single bed. The single bed will only be made up if seven guests are selected.
Kick back with the comforts that the owners have provided, so you can stay connected if you like with a Starlink WiFi connection and smart TV (BYO streaming services), yet snuggled up to the indoor wood heater taking pride of place in the lounge room, enjoying an ocean view itself. Board games, puzzles and books adorn the shelves of the home, ready for you to enjoy.
Conveniently situated, just a short drive away, you'll find Bicheno's charming array of shops, inviting cafes, and the pristine Douglas Apsley National Park. One of a Kind
Once you conquer the very steep driveway and get into this wood filled wonder, you understand where it got its name. Perched on a steep hillside high above the terrain, the views to the East of the forest below and the Tasman Sea are stunning. The place, itself, is very unique both in its construction and layout. It is well appointed with everything you need and very tastefully decorated with genuine artwork. Some of the small watercolors are truly gems! Dozens of books line shelves everywhere. We had a resident Wallaby just outside each morning we were there. The place is conveniently located about a five minute drive from Bichino, so it is away from most all noise. It is very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. I'd come back here anytime!
