Beautiful beachside comfort

Incredible location - looks out to sea, close access to a superb beach. Kids loved the sheep paddock next door, rabbits marauding on the lawn and the little penguins did not disappoint. Gorgeous bedding, and bedrooms have great light. Not ideal with small children - there is a long flight of stairs to the upstairs bedroom, the front door slams with great force. Limited groceries available in Bicheno, but the Lobster Shack took good care of us.

Great way to see the penguins at night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in a breeze. The apartment was just beautiful. Could do with another washing machine on the grounds though- it was always very busy!

This property is overrated. Booked it and paid premium rates coz it says Penguin Show included, however all it offers was a platform behind some bushes to view. Can’t even see the penguins coming to shore, and eventually only see 2 penguins. Very disappointing.
