Welcome to Alpen Villa #5, your perfect summer retreat off Flintlock Trail at Powderhorn Mountain. Explore scenic hiking trails, breathtaking waterfalls, and enjoy outdoor adventures. Just 20 minutes from Little Girls Point on Lake Superior, it’s ideal for beach visits and lakeside views. Combine with Alpen Villa #6 for a spacious, luxurious getaway—perfect for larger groups or families!



Other Things to Note:

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $40 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

Excellent Ski in/out Trailside

Trailside at Big Powderhorn Ski resort in the U.P. of Michigan. I've had previous stays in this condo but since the new ownership the renovations they have done have made it much nicer. Well stocked kitchen, you can leave your spices and appliances at home. New outdoor hot tubs. Wonderful warm natural fireplace, new fixtures and carpet throughout. A very comfortable place to stay that's right off one of the gentler slopes of Big Powderhorn and from which you can ski down to chairs that will take you anywhere on the mountain!
