Wonderful on all counts: service, location, food and comfort. Very pleased with the kindness and attention to detail provided by the hotel staff. The location was very convenient for tourist bus, walking and public transport with a major station across the street. The breakfast was lovely and the tapas restaurant was delicious. The soups were also a favorite of mine. The room was very comfortable and spacious.

This hotel was amazing, the staff at the desk were very helpful. The room was great. We did book an exec suite and it stated it had a balcony, which we didn't, not sure why. But the bathroom was very spacious with a deep bath tub. Even me at 6' could easily ly back and sink into the bath.. There were only 2-3 things I thought could have been better, but I'm being really picky. They were that we had to ask for the coffee to be replenished at reception and this was embarrassing as I wasn't sure if this was included or we had to purchase ourselves. I also noticed that the bedside table was extremely dusty and it had not been cleaned. I also had to leave a note for the staff to replenish the sugar in my room. We were staying for 5 nights, and tbh I thought this would be standard to be replaced. The fact we had to prompt the room staff was not great. Overall, we would 100% come back to this hotel, but the head of the the room staff need to be on top of their cleaners/maids, as they do not do a thorough job in my opinion. Guests, paying £200+ p/n should not have to ask for sugar/coffee etc. The Hotel is in a great location, right next to Christmas markets, Postdamer platz train station and the 2 malls. I gave 5 stars as the positives completely outweighed any negatives.

After we got back to the US I received an email from the hotel informing me that they noticed a table in the room had been damaged and they were going to charge me 150 euros. I’ve stayed at about 1000 hotels in my life and this is the first time I ever received such an email. I didn’t damage anything in the room. If I had I would’ve informed them. I will report back on how this matter proceeds.

Excellent hotel in great location. Terrific breakfast- the best we had in a while. Service is outstanding. Food was excellent. The only thing that we didn’t like were the toiletries. They were subpar for 5 star hotel. But it’s a very small item. Overall an excellent hotel.

We had a beautiful room that was much bigger than we normally see in Europe. It was comfortable and quiet with a ton of storage space and a large bathroom. Easy walk to sites such as the Brandenburg Gate and to the subway station. Thermostat is under the hotel’s control, which was unusual in our experience, but they changed the temperature quickly when we asked. We didn’t eat or have drinks there so I can’t comment on that. It’s a lovely hotel that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
