I had a great stay at the Riu hotel. The staff was super kind and it had such a beautiful layout. My only issue is that they do not have a microwave on the premises. I wanted to heat up some food, I had from earlier and was told by the front desk that they are not allowed to heat up food for guest & don’t have a microwave around. I don’t see the point of having a refrigerator in your room if there’s nothing around to heat up your leftovers. Also, The rooms only come with one little thin pillow per bed. I did sleep good at night. But if you want to lay in bed for a bit and chill, the pillow becomes an issue. Other than that, everything else about the hotel is great. Convenient location within a 5-10 minute walking distance to stores and restaurants.

The staff were warm but not overly friendly, the location is superb, the rooms though are in desperate need of a revamp. After a 19hr travel day I just dropped my bags off in the room and went out. I got back to my room late that evening, showered and hopped into bed. The next morning I woke up and noticed a dried blood stain on the other side of the bed which I did not sleep on. The curtains as well are falling apart. I spoke to the front desk about, and nothing happened.

I really liked the room and the view of Berlin. The walk-in shower was awesome and the floor heating was great. Super friendly hotel staff and the breakfast was delicious! 100% recommended and I will definitely stay again!
