The nearest subway station, Turmstraße, can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot, the metro station Beusselstrasse is just 10 minutes by foot or a 3 minute bus trip away; and many buses to get around the city are accessible in under 3 minutes. A direct bus to the central train station allows a comfortable commute to BER airport by train.

Pictures can tell lies

They have several units from which they choose the best pictures. So you’re not looking at pictures of just your apartment. Moldy Bathroom. Shower that doesn’t drain well. We had a 4pm check-in didn’t hear from the owner until after 6pm. If you’re driving forget about it! There’s no parking within a mile after 5pm. The city center is a 20 minute drive. No close U or street car. I really wish I could post pictures to show how deceptive this Host is! But you get what you pay for. It was only 80 a night over new years. The neighborhood has some interesting history. The River is a nice walk. The Coffee shop on the corner was great place to start your day.

It was fine for the price and location

Location was great because of people I know in Moabit. It’s not a location for tourists. Bath is unpleasant. The shower didn’t drain, which is horrible. Extra bath towels would have been nice for the 5 days we stayed. For some reason there were only three of everything (plates, etc.) in the kitchen. Very random.

Simple and comfy place

This place was very comfortable. Gregor was easy to reach to let us in - and from there we never had any worries. Very private and secure. Lots of good food in the neighborhood and easy transportation methods everywhere. Nothing fancy but it fit our needs and was comfy.

Nice apartment with access to the city centre

We enjoyed the stay, Gregor was very accommodating and just a short walk from the flat is a tram stop with access to the city centre.

No frills accommodation in central location

Great location for a wide variety of restaurants. Easy access to public transport. Not so good was accessing the top floor apartment with heavy bags up the stairs. Fortunately we had some assistance from our host. Comfortable beds with clean linen. Kitchen and bathroom functional but basic. Overall decent value for money.

I made the best memories here

I really enjoyed staying here. I was here for a month and I truly felt like a local living life in Berlin. I was here with someone and we both had the most incredible time exploring the neighborhood and just living here for the time being. I will never forget the memories I made on this trip, and this place made it all happen. If there is anything to note that would benefit other renters, I would say, walking to and from Turmstassa Ubahn station is about 10-15 min each way. But I was always glad to do so. I even made friends in the area which was such a godsend. We still keep in touch and Im hoping to visit them next time I return. Also, I wish my apartment had a microwave, but it also wasn't too big of a deal because I (and I'm not joking when I say this) usually eat all my food cold anyway. But it would have been nice to have one. The neighborhood is great too. I tried almost every restaurant nearby. Such good food a month wasn't enough to try it all. You must try the baklava! Would I stay here again? Absolutely. And hopefully some day soon I will come back. Thank you Gregor for letting me stay here.

Amazing Stay Amazing host

This was my first time in Berlin and I had an absolutely amazing experience! The room was exactly what I expected, a nice and cheap place to stay close to public transit, restaurants and stores. The host, Gregor is also a great host greeting me at the door and giving me a tour of my room, he also shipped my headphones back to me after I had forgotten at no additional charge!

Perfectly located for buses to travel anywhere you want to. Main street around the corner from apartment had souvenir shops, food shops, bus stops. Host was very friendly and excited to see us, willing to have us call him anytime for anything.

We had a lovely time staying at this cool apartement in an excellent location. The flat was clean, light and cozy, had everything we needed, the neighborhood was full of places to eat, have coffee or shop, public transportation very nearby. Gregor was a great host. We would stay again for sure.

Wonderful Stay

This place was perfect for my husband and myself. Gregor was super helpful and let us drop our bags off early. He also gave us some food advice, which was delicious. The flat was in a great location, close to buses and the city. I would definitely stay here again if I go back through Berlin!

Ruhig gelegen und günstig

Der Check-In war unkompliziert. Man entnimmt den Wohnungsschlüssel einem Kasten neben der Haustür, der mit einem Zahlenschloss versehen ist (der Code wird vorab zugeschickt). Die Wohnung war sauber, allerdings ist manches schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. So sind die Fenster teils schwer zu öffnen/schließen. Im Bad waren die Duschstange etwas locker und das Badregal an einer Stelle gebrochen. In der Küche ist zum Kochen alles vorhanden. Jedoch könnte das Bestecksortiment etwas umfangreicher sein (2 Gabeln ist zu knapp), ein Toaster wäre auch nett gewesen. Die Betten waren bequem und sauber. Ruhiges Schlafen war garantiert, da sich das Guest house in einem Hinterhof befindet. WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Anbindung an den ÖPNV ist gut. Trotz ein paar kleiner Schönheitsfehler ist das Guest House Moabit alles in allem zu empfehlen.

Gute Lage und so wie angepriesen

Die Wohnung befindet sich in wirklich guter Lage, so dass alles wichtige mit dem ÖPNV in 20 Minuten oder weniger zu erreichen ist. Es ist alles so wie im Inserat angegeben. Kommunikation immer sehr gut und schnell.Auch wenn die Küche ein bisschen veraltet ist, lässt sich trotzdem mit ihr arbeiten.

Das Bad ist ist zwar sauber aber der Schimmel in der Dusche müsste mal beseitigt werden. Der Duschvorhang ist so lang das er den Abfluss blockiert.Die Küche könnte einen neuen Herd und Kühlschrank gebrauchen.

Eher Hostel-Style

Die Kommunikation war vielversprechend, freundlich und verbindlich. Ich kann auch nicht verstehen, dass sich dahinter so eine abgewohnte Wohnung verbirgt. Und es war auch nach den Bildern und einer Bewertung von 9,0 nicht zu erwarten. Spinnweben an der Decken und den Lamen, die Abflüsse müffeln, der Kühlschrank hat wirklich widerlich gemüffelt, der Abfluss der Dusche floss kaum ab und in der Dusche ist Schimmel. Boden und Betten schienen sauber, das Bett war bequem. Wer damit gut leben kann und dafür einen günstigen Preis bekommt, wir keine Beanstandungen haben. Ich habe mich im Nachhinein geärgert, weil ich für 100€ mehr in einem guten Hotel (4 Sterne) mit Frühstück hätte übernachten können. Wir haben eh nicht gekocht in der Küche und wie gesagt, der Kühlschrank hat gestunken, so dass ich ungern Lebensmittel dort aufbewahrt habe.
