The location is great, the beat i couid ask but the hotel need to advance to theyear 2018 . The room was not that clean, the double bed is 2 single beds and the matress is not good.

Hotel set the tone for my visit.

Without a doubt, the Berlin Plaza Hotel am Kurfurstendamm set the tone for my first visit to Berlin. The staff were wonderful, friendly and willing to allow me to stumble with a few German phrases. I have already decided to return next spring. Its location is fabulous, just a 10 minute amble along the wonderful Kurfurstendamm to the Zoologischer station which is a major hub for bus and S-bahn. My room was excellent, spotless and well serviced. Breakfast was amazing. There is little else to say other than thank you for adding value to my stay in a great city.

Great location. A comfortable hotel close to the city and local train. All you really need for a fun stay in a nice Berlin suburb.

The location is good but...this property is not air conditioned nor do they have fans available for the majority of the rooms. My room was unbearably hot. Sleeping with the window open brought little relief. What it did bring was plenty of noise to keep me awake until the very early hours of morning as the hotel is directly above the restaurant with outdoor seating and adjacent to a night club/smoking lounge. I’m sure this hotel is perfectly adequate in the winter, buyer beware if it’s warm out.

This was my second time staying at the Berlin Plaza hotel (first time back in 2014). Great location, close to public transport, great breakfast and helpful staff. I love Berlin and will be back.

The hotel itself was fine and the front desk staff were very nice and helpful, but the hotel is not worth the price. There is absolutely nothing special about it. The wifi worked fine. Fairly small room. The location is close to public transportation, so getting around is easy. There's a restaurant attached, but the prices seemed quite high. There is a Lidl just down the street so you can buy some food for cheap, but there is not a fridge in the room to keep anything cold.

Awesome location with OK rooms, well worth a stay

Great location near bars and a nice array of shopping centers. The only issues we came across were that it would get very warm/uncomfortable because of the lack of A/C, but windows did let in a relatively nice breeze after dark. Also, our bathroom was nice aside from a peculiar smell that always lingered.

Hotel is older and has no air conditioning. Was pretty warm when we were there (mid-June). The place could definitely use a renovation. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were excellent. Breakfast not worth the 12 euro charge, cheaper restaurants close by. Excellent location. Close to train station and some excellent shops and restaurants. Good value for the money!

Good Location but don't expect any hospitality

Have never experienced this level of untrained grumpy staff, ever. Flaky paint, no air conditioning, phone reception as it was quite warm (as advised in the hotel manual) but was answered by an uninterested staff member, who said they'd look to see if they had an electric fan and ring back but they never rang back. But we overlooked this, as the location is excellent, 4 mins walk to metro and 6 minutes to train station. 10 walk from shops like primark, HM etc. And 2 minutes walk to high end shops. (1 minute walk to Lidl supermarket).

Reasonable hotel enjoying excellent location

POSITIVES: Location is great / very helpful staff, including domestics. / The decor is somewhat dark and gloomy but the bed is comfy & everywhere is clean. NEGATIVES: Don't spend 12.5 euros on breakfast - it's not cost-efficient/ There's no tea/coffee in the rooms/ If from UK learn to speak German otherwise you'll be condemned to CNN on the TV

Great location; small room with no A/C

The location near the Kudamm was great. There is no air conditioning in the rather-small guest rooms, but the rooms have a safe and fridge. The hotel has an elevator--a plus.
