Numa finally contacted me after my review on Google (which is below) they’ve offered 20% refund which is still pending as they said it would take 10-14 days. Review: “If there is an issue, they will not be able to resolve it timely or respond. (1) AC was out in my mother’s room the entire 5 day stay and it was a very hot weekend. All they offered was 30% refund after days of no status or responding to us. (2) the essentials closet was empty so no towels for a day. They said they would drop some off the next day. (3) they dropped off the towels BUT LEFT OUR ROOM DOOR WIDE OPEN WITH OUR BELONGINGS EXPOSED!! Absolutely unacceptable for any accommodation!! They told me multiple times over WhatsApp that safety was trip priority and someone would contact me in 10-15 minutes… that never happened! I do not recommend Numa Berlin for long term stays or safety reasons.”

The worst experience that i have had. No AC and was told daily they would fix it. They never did. Shower leaks water out of the small confined area. Asked for clean towels and didn’t receive until after 24 hours. No towels in the essential closet. There was not enough room for two people to have luggage and move around in the room at the same time. The TV would not let us stream even though they said it would. Only one chair at the desk to sit in and it was at the foot of the bed upstairs. I have no idea why they gave us this room as we ordered a medium room and was billed for a medium room. We are expecting a 30% refund but have yet to receive it. I will be taking this further to the management to get a full refund for all of the inconveniences and accommodations that lacked.
Open area in a loft room. They considered this a medium room and it’s a tiny room.
Had to crawl in the bed from the foot of the bed for 2 people.

Great apartment, great position.

Great place to stay. Really near underground station so easy to get everywhere (although also only a 20 minute walk to the Brandenburg Gate). Great facilities in hotel - able to prepare our own breakfasts and meals (there’s a Lidl nearby). Case storage, drink making facilities and loo’s available on day of departure until 20:00 a brilliant bonus.

Excellent location! Walkable to most popular sights, museums, canal cruises. Building is clean, safe & the rooms are same. Perfectly equipped, modern, lovely, comfy, cozy bed. Dining varieties close by & a small efficient grocery store if you need. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again. Walkable to Central Station.

Studio bien situé à 5 min du checkpoint Charlie et métro en face de l’appartement. Épicerie à 7-8 min à pied. Très propre. Lave linge au sous sol, très pratique peu coûteux. On y retrouve au ds un sèche linge à emprunter et possibilité de changer serviettes et reprendre café, sucre et lait au besoin. Je recommande.

Good, reasonably priced stay

I picked this hotel for a short sight seeing break just before Christmas. It is conveniently located near to Checkpoint Charlie and the U-bahn. The stay felt a little strange on arrival compared to many since there is no reception; it is all done via their website, app or WhatsApp, resulting in a pin code supplied before arrival. It all worked just fine for me, no issues getting to my room at all. There is a small lounge area inside the front door, but otherwise it is mostly just the rooms. Mine was one of the ones with a kitchenette - so microwave, fridge, small hob, sink and matching utensils. It is good for a small amount of cooking, but nothing very big. The room was a reasonable size, and bed was comfy. Had everything you might expect. It looked out into a light well in the middle of the building and had a door that could open into this which was good if it got too hot. Not complaints, was a good place to stay.
