The property was centrally located and afforded easy access to local activities in the area, and the
train station was within walking distance allowing ease of access to tours and activities that were further afield.
The hotel was clean, and the room that we had on the 5th floor was of a good size, provided all necessary amenities and the bed was comfortable.
The only downsides in the room were that the curtain had come away from the rail at the top and the TV that kept cutting out and could not be fixed as there was no one on site to deal with it.
Reception staff were polite and friendly, but information was sometimes contradictory depending on who you spoke to.
Breakfast was very good, food was fresh and varied and there were plenty of options to choose from. We stayed on a bed and breakfast rate and were a little disappointed that due to an early departure we were told we could have a packed breakfast to go, but that it would incur extra charge. We felt that this should have been at no charge given that we had paid via our b&b rate.
Overall the hotel was really good and I would recommend it without hesitation.
