Shops, bars and nightclubs nearby- but that means it was very loud in the room on Saturday night until about 2:30am. We used a couple white noise apps on two phones and were able to drown it out and go to sleep though.

The location is ideal for anyone visiting the city center, as it’s situated right in the heart of the pedestrian zone. The hotel is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and bars, and there’s a supermarket conveniently located just next door. As noted on the website, the room is quite small and does not have windows. The ventilation system can be a bit noisy at times. However, the breakfast was satisfactory, and it’s a nice touch that coffee and tea are available at all times in the lobby.

Central location a big positive. On the downside 3 bars along inside of the hotel (unfortunately ours) had very, VERY, noisy crowds outside EVERY night until 0300. The double glazing of there is certainly doesn’t work. A major negative on our 5 night stay

Long list of lacking things: My room had no closet or drawers, so I had to rummage through my suitcase for three days to get clothes. My room was not advertised as a no-window room, but in fact it had only a couple of skylights (easy to know when it was raining!). My shower had no door, so water covered nearly the entire bathroom floor. The shower also had no shelf for shampoo and soap, so I had to keep reaching to the floor for them. There was no nightstand next to my bed, so I had to keep my phone on the bed next to me, risking it falling off or getting lost in bedding. The room also had no mini-fridge. The housekeepers removed my wastebasket on day 1 and did not return it. In the breakfast room, there was no cream for coffee; one could only squirt some skim milk from a machine, if the machine was working (sometimes yes, sometimes no). The espresso machine stopped working on my second morning, so there was only drip coffee in a carafe. Front desk staff was nice but falsely told me there is no free street parking on weekends, so I would have to park in a garage. Actually, in most zones, parking regulation is suspended from 5pm on Saturday till 8am on Monday.

The location was great. We could walk to Brugge, shopping, restaurants, and the train station. The staff didn’t seem happy or wanting to help. It was like they were being bothered to check us in or answer questions.

I got off to a rocky start my first night as I was the last to check in that night. Rooms should be assigned in the morning. Staff member had difficult guests before me and I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to show up at front desk. The room I booked was not available. I stayed at another hotel that had lots of issues. The following morning they checked me in early, gave me a choice of rooms, got me a fan and a credit for the previous night which was greatly appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and location. Ended on a good note.

Nice location. Very quiet and very comfortable beds. Nice breakfast selections. Very nice and helpful staff at the reception. Rooms a little tired. Knew it lacked somethings but a better place to store cloths and a room safe would have been nice. I small fridge would be a nice touch as well. Fine for 2-4 days but longer stays than that might not work for some people. I think not a four star property but it served its purpose.

Great location and service-room lacking functional

I found this to be the perfect location. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was huge and amazing. I love the sleek contemporary design of the rooms. There were signs with little extras you could get, like a fan, which was great. Four stars because the room really lacked functionality. There were no nightstands, only one outlet by the bed, no USBs anywhere (had to choose between the fan or charging devices overnight). The bathroom was wildly dysfunctional. There was no place to put your things. Not a shelf even in the shower. And about 3 feet of totally unused space (so plenty of room for hooks or shelves). You can make it work but leaving detail in the review hoping they add some things to make life easier.

In this city parking is an issue, a few very large municipal parking lots are available but are often full during business hours. It would have been extremely helpful if the hotel staff would of indicated that a supermarket was just next door! Great breakfast
