Phenomenal hotel with beautiful, elegant rooms and lovely, helpful staff. We had to skip sitting down for breakfast to catch a train to the fjords but the staff let us go in early and box up whatever we wanted to go! I would give it 6 stars if I could!

Great location. Nice property and staff. Breakfast quality was just ok. Lots of choices but quality very average. Junior suite was ok, but ‘balcony’ was over trash dumpsters, air conditioning could not be set nearly low enough. Zero closet or dresser storage.

A fantastic location in the heart of Bergen. The beds were comfortable and our room overlooked a courtyard that was so quiet. The staff was wonderful. The highlight was the extensive breakfast buffet. Fresh baked bread, cheese selection, frittata, vegetables, meats, yoghurt with every possible topping and finally an abundance of pastries. Of course juices and coffee. I could only manage to eat a portion of the extensive offerings.

The hotel is ‘cool’ BUT the clear glass doors on the toilet area is a bit much. Total lack of privacy. The hosts at the reception area provided different information to different guests. When we checked in the host did not tell us at all about the fact that the two restaurants that were adjacent to the hotel both would give us a 25% discount if we ate there- I only learned that because today I was sitting and waiting to leave the hotel when I heard another host tell a couple about that. Perhaps ALL staff members need same training or a checklist to make sure each guest has the same information. The hotel breakfast was just ok. Very little variation from day to day.

Lovely standard room 508 for our 1 night stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was included which we appreciated since we had a very early checkout. We also received a 25% discount if dining at KOD steakhouse. I would recommend staying at Hotel Oleana.

Pros: Terrific breakfast buffet Excellent service Great location Cons: Bad bathrooms: NO DOOR, little counter space, no free amenities. Having no door is not just a privacy issue (if the room door is open you can see straight into the shower which has a clear glass shower door), it is also a noise issue and a steam issue.

We ask for a junior suite with balcony. Too expensive for wat we received. It is a misleading adertising The room is small, the closet or wadrobe is just for 3 o4 clothes, so 2 luggage opened are complicated to handle. Of course it had a balcony, however the iew is to a garage of another building with garbage cubes.
