A lovely new hotel with large rooms and easy parking. Staff were brilliant and very friendly. A 10 minute walk to the old town along the promenade. Great breakfast.

We loved our stay at Hotel Plaza. We booked one night but wished we had stayed longer. We arrived two hours early but they were so gracious and allowed us to check-in early with just a 10-minute wait. They had Turkish delight at check-in and offered us water as well. They have limited on-street parking blocked by cones and insisted we move our car and park in front to avvoid ticketing. They immediately mentioned the free bottle of wine I would receive as VIP Access, and it was in the room with flowers strewn on the bed as well. They made dinner suggestions and the hotel is walkable to everywhere. Breakfast is temporarily at their older sister hotel across the street but what a selection!

The hotel is walking distance to the castle, old town, etc but also far enough away that there is onsite parking and an elevator for easy access. Rooms are spacious and bright, clean and well appointed! Ask for a balcony facing the park! Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast is located next door and has everything you need!

Dennis at the front desk was great. We arrived early and allowed us to stow our bags. He was instrumental in acquiring us a taxi to Gjirokastër the following day and he was bang on with his restaurant recommendation!

The front desk lady was very nice and cheerful and gave a very warm welcome. One issue which they need to improve is the breakfast; we had to eat in a different hotel because the hotel's restaurant was not ready, and the other hotel's breakfast is very limited and they were understaffed, and things took a long time to happen and when an item finished they simply could not replace and told us they were out of it.

Luxurious, welcoming hotel in the heart of Berat.

Just the one night, but a lovely experience all the same. Greeted by a complimentary bottle of wine and Rudi at the front desk who was delightful, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Berat was lovely. Breakfast very good.
