The perfect hotel in a beautiful area of Old Town

We had a great 3 night stay at the Mar Blau. Had a wonderful welcome from Tony who was knowledgeable about the local area. He tried to accommodate us with a room swap to a sea view but it wasn't possible and we were given room 806, the attic room which had a town view. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with plenty of storage for our short stay and had a huge balcony with two sun loungers. Kettles and cups are not in the rooms but are offered on check-in.

Great stay. Perfect view and superb area to be in. Close to everything and the buses stop outside. Beach just over the road too. Only negative was the ongoing stench of sewage or damp in our room. Couldnt decide what it was. Had to buy incense sticks to lessen the impact!

Super Little Hotel

First time staying in The Mar Blau, although we knew of the hotel and had often looked up and envied the guests sitting on their balconies with an unrestricted view of the sea. it is a two star hotel as it has no pool/gym etc etc but it is 5 star friendly/clean/comfy and in a great location in the old town. There are a number of very good café/ restaurants on the door step.

These apartments are fantastic - right on the beach front - lovelly walk into old town just a few steps away - no noise only the noise of waves every morning .we will defiantly be booking to go back —reception staff helpful - no issues with check in or check out - bus picked up right outside for airport transfer
