Lovely rural property, complete with a working chook house - yes farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Self Contained Cottage has a fenced in area to keep pets safe. Sit on the large covered verandah and watch the wild life go by which includes Rabbits and many types of native birds, or step out side the fenced in area for a lovely tree swing. Only 12 minutes from Bendigo CBD, less to Bendigo pottery, or various short drives to wonderful haunts like Colbinabbin Silo Art, Echua, Heathcote, Bridgewater, Castlemaine, Maldon, Reasdale & Axedale.

Generous apportioned cabin, which can sleep up to 4, Separate Bedroom with Queen Bed, Separate Bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and family room complete with a sofa bed, full cooking facilities, continental Brecky offered upon request. Condiments supplied include Coffee. Tea, sugar, oil for cooking, salt and pepper and limit Spices.

The demountable ‘cottage’ was very well appointed with quality products. Breakfast items provided. Liked the fence for our dog. Host wasn’t home to meet us when we arrived around 4pm. Their dog barked from then till at least midnight. we were trying to get an early night for an early start next day and I felt sorry for the poor dog. Easy 9 min walk to Huntly Hotel, good food.

the cottage was spotless. the heater was turned on for us so it was cosy on arrival. Plenty of quality teas, coffees, bread, milk and fresh eggs. It was amazing. Cozy and comfy cabin

I spent one night in the cabin with my kids. It was a great accommodation with open space in the front. Nice, tidy and organised stuffs inside. Varieties of board games to enjoy with kids and of course lots of stuffs for snakes and breakfast. Highly recommended.

The Cottage at Huntley

The cottage was easy to find as the host had sent clear concise instructions. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find the little cottage was exactly as described. Everything was provided for us to enjoy our brief stay, the yard was fully fenced so our mini schnauzer Coco could come and go from inside as she pleased and she even got to chat with the household chickens. All round a very homey, secure place that I would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Huntly Country Cottage. It was very comfortable and the hosts, Meagan and Mitch, added some lovely touches. Oats and cornflakes, an assortment of condiments, Helgas bread, and some nice touches in the bathroom. Being on a semi-rural property was something different, and having chooks and a few rabbits outside the property was lovely. It was great having a secure area to leave our small dog when we went out for dinner. Bendigo hasn't had any decent rain for months, so the area around the property is very dry and bare, but we certainly enjoyed our stay at Huntly Country Cottage and will stay there again.
