This was such a special part of our Belize holiday. The staff was amazing, the rooms were absolutely gorgeous, and you can see that everyone working there takes great pride in excellent hospitality. This is a very special place to stay. If you're ready to unwind and experience being in the jungle surrounded by a lot of peace and nature, but also having lovely amenities, excursions, and wonderful service from the team running the resort, this is the place to visit. Everything was simply amazing about this place! The customer service, the beautiful grounds, the gorgeous room - EVERYTHING was perfect. Don't hesitate to stay here. We had a River View room and it was perfect - high ceilings, big bathroom, and huge patio with four comfy chairs and a hammock. We'd hang outside to listen to the wildlife. We spent time exploring the property, which was fun. We also did a morning sunrise breakfast on the cliff top and that was a wonderful experience. Thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay so special.

The Sleeping Giant is a real gem and in itself a reason to head to Belize and spend a week at this beautiful resort south of Belmopan. The grounds and the interior design of the cottages and the house we rented are the best I’ve enjoyed in many years of travel and the staff is A plus. The restaurant with its open air and indoor dining is really good and there is not an amenity that is overlooked in this perfect place! Thanks to all at the ‘Sleeping Giant’!
