While this property undoubtedly possesses an appealing aesthetic, several significant operational and service shortcomings unfortunately overshadowed our experience, which I hope you will address. Our arrival experience set an immediate and disappointing tone. We reached the hotel shortly after 1:00 PM, and though we understood that the standard check-in time was 3:00 PM and appreciated being able to leave our luggage, the subsequent delays were highly inconvenient, especially as we were traveling with two young children after a lengthy flight. Upon our return at 3:30 PM, we were informed that our room was still not ready and were asked to wait an additional 15 minutes. This brief delay extended considerably, and we ultimately did not receive the keys to our room until closer to 5:00 PM, nearly two hours past the stated check-in time. This prolonged wait, with tired children, was a challenging and unwelcome start to our vacation. A major concern throughout our stay was the complete absence of housekeeping service. Over the course of our five days, our room was never once cleaned. When I proactively approached the front desk to request service, a staff member eventually came to our room hours later, only to stand outside and inquire if I had garbage. I was then handed a garbage bag and expected to empty the bin myself, which is far below the expected standard of a full-service hotel. Our dining experiences also presented inconsistencies. The Asthetic of the hotel is just that aesthetic, While the location is Poor! To start off the hotel doesn’t accommodate your arrival/Departure, you will have to find your way from/To the airport to the hotel.The rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff were amazing!! The hotel knows they are in the middle of nowhere and when it comes to food drinks and entertainment, super UPCHARGE on dining and common necessities (like water). They do have a menu but something’s are not on said menu, so they tend to mark up and then blame it on tax in the dining hall. (A few times I actually heard them saying one price then charging another so keep all of your receipts ). We stayed to bring in the new year and they had a buffet but nothing on the buffet is true belizean dishes so we wanted to try something from the menu but we were told it’s the buffet 88 bzd per person or nothing. If you’d like to do anything away from the hotel you have some options you can either rent a car (can be really expensive by day 300-400 bzd per day depending on car) grab a taxi which is really expensive est. 30 bzd per person each trip , take the hotel shuttle 20 bzd per person each trip, or try the unofficial bus route 2 bzd per person each trip. If it had not been for the cleaning staff we probably wouldn’t have been able to explore the wonderful things Belize has to offer. .. long story short don’t book here just get an all inclusive

The staff was amazing, especially Freddy! The hotel is very new. Clean. The pool was cold but the view amazing! Outdoor space was relaxing. The restaurant should provide free coffee all day. The food was delicious.

A swim-up bar was available at the pool. It was kept clean at all times. The deck had a portion that was covered for shade and another for fun in the sun. The decor throughout the establishment (GR&R) was modern yet family functional. The supervisor led an incredibly kind, gracious, knowledgable, and wonderful crews of the front desk and the restaurant. They were extremely helpful in helping me coordinating activities in Belize City and within the hotel. This is the only hotel that I will recommend.
