Great little hotel in quaint historic area directly in city center. Room was comfortable with good AC. Staff was very friendly. There is live traditional music played outside on the street at night, but in my particular room it was not very loud (some other rooms might be closer). Would stay again.

The hotel was in a good location close to the old town and restaurants. However the only issue was that it was very noisy outside the hotel at nighttime making it difficult to get sleep

Terrible noisy apartments

The hotel is small, it is in Skadarlija, center of nightlife of Belgrade. The windows are looking to the street. Restourant with live music is just in front of your window. Restorant was not closed after finishing music, there was noise long time after that, than streat cleaners... Everithing is heard. There is nothing of that in hotel description on Expedia. When I came and sow that receptionist did not wanted to let me go. He told me that I paid and I have to stay there at least one night. Also he blocked money on my account after I came. He did not wanted to call the owners, becouse they sleap!!! It is very far from 4 stars (as tehy say on Expedia). From my expirience, I would give tham max 2 stars. It is middle clean, old furniture (not like the photos on Expedia), coople of things broken...

Very noisy

The hotel was situated in a good location to get into the town, however, it was so noisy every night we couldn't sleep. Two of the nights the parties and music went on until 5am.

Decent hotel in a very good location, right on Skadarlija. Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating, however the rooms are small and not terribly good value for money.

On the party street

The hotel is quite nice. Very small and situated amongst most of the restaurants in Belgrade. We hadn't realised that it was actually on that street or we might have chosen elsewhere. The band in the restaurant was sited right under our window and played until one o clock each night. Good if you are in a party mood but not if you are looking for a quiet time. I will try to find somewhere quieter next time but wouldn't mind staying here again. Staff were helpful. No complaints apart from noise.

A B and B: Check in was very friendly, located in a convenient neighbourhood, did their best to mask the smell of smoke; one could enjoy the outdoor music well into the night from the room- by the way, the music may come in handy for an otherwise absent privacy. The price is definitely right.

The 2 staff members, ladies, that we met were very good in giving advice etc. though we know Belgrade well this is a great base from which to explore the city. Breakfast just around the corner was perfectly fine. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We loved the location of the hotel. Everything was walking distance, we've really enjoyed our stay. On our way back to Canada "cika Dusan gave us a ride to the airport" People are amazing from the check in to check out-all fast and easy. Love you guys, we will be back.

We found this place from the name and the reviews online, and it lived up to them. A cozy hotel in a very nice spot in town. The staff was helpful and friendly. There were a few cheaper options in town, but for a set of budget travelers, the plusses were worth it.

Loved our stay at the travelling actor! We stayed 5 nights and experienced a plane delay on our way which meant a really early morning arrival. We were so relieved to find our driver waiting. The receptionist was so helpful in planning some trips out of Belgrade. The area cannot be faulted. Only gripe was the room was slightly on the small side but well maintained throughout our stay. Breakfast was massive as all portions in Belgrade but limited options to choose from.

For those who like late nights and late breakfast

This is a nice hotel in a central location in Belgrade. It does have some disadvantages though. It is in the middle of the old district famous for music in its restaurants, and there is a restaurant above the rooms, which play music until about midnight, so if you like early nights this place is not for you. Also, this may be common in Serbia but breakfast is served 9-12am. So if you have planned something early (or have a business meeting like I did) this may not be ideal. Nevertheless I had a nice stay at this hotel. Having said that, the hotel room is nice and has everything you need, the hotel staff are friendly and the location is very central.

Great location. Very friendly.

They were very nice - even offering to pick me up from the airport. I declined but it was actually a very competitive rate. The location is great - both the walking street around the corner and the surrounding neighborhood. Plus it's very central to everything else too. My room was nice. I would stay again.

Good hotel, good location

I enjoyed staying at the Travelling Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location, on the corner of Skadalija and near to Republic Sq, is very convenient. I was in room 5 and my only criticisms would be (1) weak/inconsistent wifi access in the room; and (2) the shower is very small and placed strangely in the bathroom room so it is difficult to get in and out. But, otherwise, a very pleasant stay.
