All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and has a very spacious shower and soaking tub. The breakfast is fantastic! Best waffle I’ve ever had. The bar is lively especially on Saturday. Large selection of perfectly made drinks na there is a late evening menu. The location is wonderful. Only a few minute walk to Belfast Central station and some of the most popular pubs are within a 2-6 min walk. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Lovely room except I accidentally booked a wheelchair room so sink was located just above my knee. I wish the front desk would have enquired when I checked in with my golf clubs if I needed that type of room. Fortunately I was only staying one night.

This is a charming hotel that goes above and beyond. They think of all of the amenities from robes and slippers and candles and matches. We had high tea in the restaurant, which was just ok, they didn’t give us a selection of tea and the portion sizes were much too large.

The Fitzwilliam was my base as I helped my daughter settle into her university residence on McClintock St. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to Queen's University and a 3 minute walk to the residence. This hotel is a 7-10 minute walk to the city centre. Excellent location for everything. Initially, I was booked in a suite for 7 nights that faced the street and the ambient traffic sound was bad. Did not get sleep that night and ended up requesting a move to a quieter room. The front desk staff were very helpful in this matter and luckily could accommodate me. Be mindful this is a problem for all rooms facing the road.

We were only in town for one night, but the Fitzwilliam Hotel provided a wonderful home base from which to move around Belfast and see the sights. The hotel was very comfortable and well appointed.

My experience was not so good. I found the bedroom environment tired dark I couldn’t find anything. There were no sockets for the Hairdressers near the mirror. The bed was not very comfortable nor of good quality. The kettle was difficult to work. I had to ask for someone to show me how to do it the room was cold. I had to get the Instructions on how to work the heating. The room did not heat up until the next morning I had to take this plug out to put my computer in. The box with extras was not cleaned out. I definitely would not rate the hotel as five star. In my opinion it is not. The staff were helloful kind and professional.
