Air source central heating (underfloor in bedrooms and hallway), hot water by solar power, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included, remainder at £3 per basket. Doggy extras. Freezer. . Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Nestled beside the owners’ cottage in a tranquil, wildlife friendly garden setting, this charming single-storey, semi-detached cottage is a cosy, relaxing retreat. Preswylfa is in an ideal location for exploring the many sandy beaches and coastal paths of the beautiful island of Anglesey, the nearest beach being just a mile away. It lies in the village of Llanddona, with the village inn (dog friendly and serving gluten-free food) a short walk away. Many family attractions, market towns, historic castles and National Trust properties are within easy reach, making this holiday cottage perfect for everyone. Beautiful views across to the Snowdonia mountains can be enjoyed from the conservatory. The island is perfect for nature lovers with superb walking and bird watching opportunities right from the doorstep. A wide range of independent shops, cafés and restaurants are available in the local town of Beaumaris. Fishing and golf is available nearby. For a car free day out, the bus stop is just 55 yards away. Beach 1 mile. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub ½ mile.

We had a lovely week.

We had a lovely week. A very comfortable house, with well thought out equipment, which worked. The welcome pack was superb and the house and well fenced garden were perfect for our 2 dogs. We would definitley recommend this place.

Very happy that I chose Preswylfa for a long weekend with my dog.

Very happy that I chose Preswylfa for a long weekend with my dog. The cottage was perfect for what we needed, lovely and warm inside even though the wind was howling outside much of the time! Jean and Simon, the owners were just next door - not overlooking, but nearby if needed. They suggested some nice places to visit and routes to take and left a lovely welcome basket including some honey from their own beehives. The nearby town of Benllech is well worth a visit, and I'd advise checking the times of high tide so that you can work out the best times for walking on the immense sandflats of Red Wharf Bay.
