The room needed some updating. The pillows on the bed were so thin as to almost not exist. We had to use towels or our clothes to make a decent pillow. Breakfast was very good, the staff was friendly and attentive and helped with any request. The coffee in the room was poor quality (instant granules). Room housekeeping was good.

Great hotel that is ideal for the old town and the Christmas markets, great breakfast and a well stocked bar. Room was big and although a bit old fashioned it was perfect for our 3 night stay and having a lift was an essential for us. All the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was nice for all nationalities. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We arrived at about midday and although we realised we were way too early we were told our room was available and we could check in. The room was big with 2 single beds, wardrobe, desk, small table and chair. There was a mini fridge but it didn't work very well. Perfect sized bathroom for the two of us with a bath and shower fixture. The fridge not working wasn't a problem as it was cold so we left our drinks outside the window. The room was at the front of the building but even with trams driving by we managed to sleep ok. Breakfast was great with a mixture of hot and cold items including the obligatory eastern European vegetables selection. We'd fill up at Breakfast and not need to eat again until teatime. The staff were great- very friendly and helpful. All in all a great stay. Hotel is well placed for the Christmas markets and there are several shopping centres within walking distance. Plenty of places to eat and drink also within walking distance

Great location but they need to work on the details. Safe was locked upon arrival, tv didn't work initially, robe was torn in two spots - the replaced one was a bit tattered, did not recieve service on one day despite having the request tag on the door, next day recieved service but they took the towels and didn't replace. While I appreciate the effort to conserve energy, the refrigerator doesn't work without as I found out due to spoiled food.

The hotel is a little outdated and the rooms could use some renovation. However, the rooms were clean and large with lots of rooms to relax and move about. The windows are very large and opened to allow fresh air and sunlight. The staff was very helpful with check in and with recommendations in the area. The hotel is very close to the main market square and many restaurants and sights. While this was convenient, it also meant that the area was noisy with trolleys and loud noise from bars which went on late into the night. The hotel offered a nice breakfast, but does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner. However, there are many restaurants to have a meal very close by.

Hotel was an excellent location and very clean. We had problems with our room (broken shower, battery flat in door lock) and this was shorted efficiently by the staff, who changed us to another room. Excellent access to the old town and the trans run right outside. Easy access to sights. The breakfast is very different and expensive for what is available - not for the English palate! Far better to head into town - we found a lovely little place called Lavenda, just off the square. Only issue we found was the noise from the trams - they do run all night and between 4-5am it gets really busy. Would recommend - we had a fab stay - not for light sleepers!
